OooOOooo!!! Look for me!
http://www.macsurfer.com/archives/months/october/October4.html

It's been too long since I've written anything. This past weekend was sooo busy:

Saturday: Went kayaking with a group from the Northwest Outdoor Center. It was soo much fun (except that my arm is now bruised..don't ask). After kayaking, Sachin and I wandered around Seattle taking pictures. We walked from Belltown to Pike Place to Pioneer Square..lots of walking. I'll try and develop some of these this weekend. After wrecking a couple rolls a while back, I'm a little scared about developing my negatives again. EEK! Later in the afternoon I went to Mukkul's co-worker's wedding. I've never been to a wedding in a church so it was an interesting experience..why is the ceremony so solemn? Our weddings are generally chaotic..people everywhere, kids crying, everyone talking (no one listens to the ceremony), etc.. The reception was held at the Seattle Museum of Flight...very cool! After dinner and a bit of dancing, I headed to Marina's bday at Pasta Fresca (close to where I went kayaking in the morning). We finally ended up at the Bad JuJu Lounge in capitol hill.

Sunday: Got up super early for my 8am yoga class at the Hindu Temple in Bothell. I fell asleep at one point, but at least I didn't snore like Priyesh did! HA :) Went for a 6 mile run later in the afternoon (after a nice 3hr nap). I took a break halfway at Suvraj & Kalid's place..it was an excuse to stop because my legs were hurting. For some reason I felt like cooking a big meal for dinner so I invited Nick & Mukkul over for food..I made butter chicken & paratha (yum!). After dinner, we met up with some ppl to see Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow. What a crummy movie! I want my money back..as Nick put it, starring at the wall would've been a better use of my time than watching that movie.

Hmm.. what else is new.. marathon training is going alright.. I don't think I'm running enough but it's hard to make time for that. I don't know how some people do it. Volleyball is going strong.. we've moved to Thursday nights now. Rock climbing..it's seen better days.. :P

Mount Rainier:
So Bud is joining up with Shawn and myself for our trek up Rainier next year. We've put a deposit down for July 22-24.
The guide company we're trekking with: Rainier Mountaineering.

Kilimanjaro:
Also for next year (August/September timeframe). Shawn & I are still hunting for some cheap flights to Kili..I think we're planning a little too early for this. We've narrowed the guide companies down to two, and we're pretty certain of the route we're going to do. Anyone interested in joining us? :)
An interesting journal read.
