Crying Heart

Once I found the perfect man

One that made my spirit dance
One the made my heart sing

So many miles apart are we

In age as well as in miles

Is this the problem?

Whatever the problem

My heart has forgotten how to sing

My spirit has forgotten how to dance

No use in looking for another

For this one was the only one.

No one else could touch him

So I sit here and listen to my heart cry

I see my spirit sitting and looking so sad

So now I just hide away

The crying of my heart drowns out all things

The saddness of my spirit over welms me

The world turns so slowly

My spirit keeps trying to tell me of the time

My heart sang and she danced

My spirit wont let me move on

How can I stop this crying heart?

Will it ever stop?

Will my spirit ever dance again?
