Welcome to the Leftorium. We started this website (which will hopefully soon become a physical publication) in hopes of providing additional insight to what's happening in our country. It is our country, after all -- even if some people in it would like you to believe differently. In addition to being passionate about politics, we are passionate about the written word; we feel that it's one of the last means of self expression that the government has not completely sodomized (yet), and we think it is important to use this to our advantage while we still can. Thought has been so repressed in this country by the current administration and the media that it has come to the point where dissent is seen as unpatriotic, as one of those bad words that warrant a firm slap on the wrist. At the Leftorium, we say no to this idea. We feel that dialogue, dissent, and ideas are crucial in building a better society. If you disagree with us, that's perfectly fine; as an American citizen, you are certainly entitled to your own opinions as we are entitled to ours. Thank you for visiting.
