The Battle for the Crown
The Battle for the Crown
by Mike Fuller

Before the age of man upon the earth, a great battle had arose between two of the animal kingdoms. The herds of the unicorns and the packs of lions had contested to over who should be crowned the King of Beasts. From this terrible fight, only one would arise victorious and the other would fade into the chronicles of legends.

After the great battle and surprisingly total defeat of the unicorns, Roe-hor's aspires towards a survey of his domain to search for any possibly surviving unicorns. He begins a journey which will encounter over one-hundred of the different species of the earth, but he discovers other animals have been disregarding of the great fight and are often boldly defiant of his claim. A challenge from several members of the cat family leads to another battle which is indecisive but further limits the extent of Roe-hor's domain. The few remaining unicorns unite loosely to decide upon their fate or survival.
