Surrealism EP
Recorded - Feb/March 2002
Surrealism is the second in the trilogy of EPs influenced by modern art. Despite the expected wealth of themes and materials available for an EP based on ideas of surrealism this is for me my worst collection of music I have so far done. The production is a step down from Abstract, the composition is bland and repetitive and the music generally uninspired. The EP does however contain my first uses of live instrumentation in the Piano parts for Near death distraction and Cinema strange.
