SHELTERED By Brian Macko
Kept hidden away from everything. Told you couldn’t even go out and play. Blinded by God and beliefs. Was told what you can and can not say. Just stuck in this stagnant nowhere life, couldn’t even get the chance to decide between what’s wrong and right.
It seemed like the right thing to do, to lock me away and to learn just from you.
Now, later on in life, I’m just like you. Wanting to control everything and everyone. Finding out that it can’t be done, the way you want it to be done. It drives me mad to know how mad you’ll be at me. What can I do?
It seemed like the right thing to do, to lock me away and to learn just from you. Now that I’m free from your tight grip. Don’t let yourself slip cause I’ll be right there to watch you fall.
It seemed like the right thing to do, to lock me away and to learn just from you.
I learned everything from you, but I actually learned nothing. All I have to say is thank you for your shelter. |
HELLO By Brian Macko
Hello I love you to death. To weep over the simplest little thing. To make up for it I would suffocate you with love. Our love making consists of punching and kicking not kissing and sticking. As you lay in a pool of my happiness I drown in a nauseating stench of bliss.
As blood trickles down and down, down to the ground and down, down to the ground.
The only way you seem to get affectionate is after you see me cry a puddle of blood. Seeing me in pain is your only source of delight. Well it just ain’t right!
As you drag me down to the ground… down to the ground… down to… down!
You tore my emotions apart for your own self-pleasure or for a bloodlust measure up that I will never measure up, never. When I say I love you, is it true for you, then why do you spit hate?
You pull me down with hate .I don’t feel all that safe, when we’re together.
So I think it’s time to sever this relationship at the wrists. |
