Dear Family,
Our gathering in Hannibal is less than a month away! Thanks to all who have sent us photos and recipes. Both of those projects are reaching completion.
With this letter are maps and directions to all of the reunion sites as well as a list of some of the attractions around Hannibal.
But first, here is the price breakdown for Saturday dinner at the Inn: adults (13+) = $11.95, children ages 5-12 = $6.95 and children 0-4 are free. Adding in tax and tip, the price totals are $15.09 and $8.40 for adults and older children, respectively. The T-shirts are $8 each. Please send payments to Kathy, preferably as one check per branch through the person who sent the tallies. However, don't hesitate to do whatever is most convenient for you.
Here are the final itinerary details:
* June 25 2pm: Hannibal Inn check in
3pm+: Riverview Park Welcome Picnic, meal 5p-7p
* June 26 Daytime free to see Hannibal sites
5:30pm: Holy Family Church Mass - come early
7:15pm: Hannibal Inn "Tom Sawyer Room" dinner (doors 6:45)
* June 27 8a-10a: Hannibal Inn "Tom Sawyer Room" Farewell Breakfast
Please bring to the park your favorite recreational equipment (e.g. baseball, horseshoes, badminton, water balloon slingshot!) and board games (checkers, cards, bingo!). We will have the T-shirts at the picnic.
Please bring to the dinner your musical instruments and abilities for informal post-dinner entertainment. A piano will be available in the dining room. Work up a duet with a cousin! The giant family tree will be on display and the recipe books will be available for a modest sum to cover production costs.
Please join us on Sunday morning for goodies and good-byes! Who will volunteer to host the next reunion?
