Dear Family,
The time is getting closer! This letter has updates for you and a request for information from you.
First up … lodging.
Our lodgings are at the Hannibal Inn and Conference Center where a block of 40 non-smoking rooms have been reserved for us. Thirty-five rooms contain two double beds for $76.50; five rooms contain 1 queen bed for $67.50. Prices are based on double occupancy. Each additional person adds $8.00, but children under the age of 18 stay free with parent, with a maximum of five people per room. Please reserve your room by June 10 after which the room block will be released. When you call mention that you are part of the "Giebler Family Reunion ". Our confirmation number is 197861. Check in time is 2pm on June 25th; checkout time is 11am June 27th. Contact information for the Inn (and other Hannibal motels) can be found here.
Next ….. meals.
The Welcome Cookout will be at Riverview Park, which is along the banks of the Mississippi River. Shelter #1 has been reserved for us beginning at 1pm on Friday June 25th.
Saturday dinner at the Hannibal Inn will be buffet style, with a price per meal determined by age. For folks over age 12 the charge is $11.95 plus tax and tip, for children between 5 and 12 the charge is approximately $5.95, children 4 and under may be free. The exact price for the children will be resolved when the Inn knows the total number of attendees broken down by age.
Breakfast on Sunday will also be at the Inn. This meal is our treat, but the Inn needs to know how many will be attending (no age breakdown necessary).

Holy Family Church will be glad to welcome more than a few extra people at the 5:30pm Mass on Saturday, June 26.
Rachael's reunion T-shirt design has evolved from a family tree idea to a team theme. The preshrunk 100% cotton shirt is royal blue with golden yellow print. On the front is a pennant with "Giebler All Stars" written on it. On the back is "Giebler Reunion Hannibal MO" encircling "2004". The price will probably be about $8 each.
As an enhancement to the Saturday dinner, please feel free to bring your musical talents and instruments. A piano will be available in the dining room.
And now … it's time to stand up and be counted! Please fill out our tally form to count the number of people attending the various gatherings in Hannibal, as well as a section for the T-shirt sizes. To avoid confusion, we are asking each family branch to return one form. Perhaps the recipients of this letter could delegate a family member to gather the information. Please send the filled out form to Kathy by April 10. We will confirm prices in the next mailing. The delegate can then collect the money from the rest of their family and send one check for the whole branch. That next letter will also contain directions to all destinations and any last minute communications.
Thanks to those who have sent photos and recipes, but we need many more! We are setting a deadline of May 31st to receive mailed submissions. Again please send items even if you cannot attend the reunion.
