Now that our doll is finished, we need to dress her. This tutorial will teach you how to make sheer clothing, plus work on shading a bit. Open up your doll and add a new raster Layer. Please ignore the grey background on mine. It is just an added layer of color to aid me in seeing what I am doing better. Use one, if it helps. Just don't forget and merge it in. lol. I've done this a number of times, and it can be undone but it's a pain in the behind.
On the new raster layer you just added, we are going to draw the outline of the clothes. I find this easier to do using the lasso and selecting the area that I want, like so:
Choose a color and flood fill your outline. I have chosen black, but any color will do. Then use your line tool and draw in the straps.Note: You have to do more shading with lighter colors. You should learn this in the Dress and Shading tutorial.
