* 1 week later *
Justin sighed, as he slowly entered his house. The guys had finished dropping him off from the hospital. They wanted to stay with him, so he wouldn't be alone and just in case he needed anything. But, Justin had insisted that he was fine. He set his keys on the counter and walked into the kitchen. His stomach roared with hunger. The food from the hospital was awful. He opened the refrigerator, when the doorbell echoed through the house. He shut the door and walked slowly towards the front door. He slowly turned the knob. His heart leapt with joy as he saw Sabina standing in the doorway. He smiled, as he slowly wrapped his strong arms around her in a warm embrace. "I'm glad you're here." He said, as he slowly pulled away. They both smiled, as they walked inside the house.
"So, how ya feeling?" She asked, as she took a seat on the stool, by the counter.
"Good, now that you're here." He smiled, as he walked towards the refrigerator.
Sabina laughed. "Awe, I feel so special." She said, as she placed her hand over her heart. "What are you doing?" She asked, as she watched Justin looking through the refrigerator.
"Trying to find something to eat." He said.
Sabina laughed. "Here, I'll make you something to eat." She said, as he gently pushed him away from the fridge.
Justin laughed. "No, it's ok really. I can make myself something."
Sabina shook her head. "No sir... You sit down and I'll make you something to eat." Justin laughed, as he took on seat on the stool. He smiled, as he watched Sabina making something to eat in the kitchen. He couldn't help but smile widely, as she concentrated on her cooking. She was so perfect. Something that he wasn't.
"Dang B, that was delicious!" Justin said, as he placed his plate in the sink.
Sabina smiled. "Why thank you." She said, as she finished washing the remaining dishes.
He smiled, as he softly kissed her forehead. I'll be back, I'm just gonna go freshin up... I smell like hospital." They both laughed, as Justin walked up the stairs. Sabina smiled, as she finished cleaning the kitchen. Once done, she went into the living room and took a seat on the couch.
45 minutes later, Justin came walking down the stairs. Fresh. He was still a little weak from his chemotherapy treatments, but he was feeling ten times better. He walked into the living room and smiled. Sabina was sleeping peacefully on the couch. He slowly sat down in front of her. He sighed, as he gently caressed her cheek. Sabina's eyes slowly fluttered open. She smiled, as she looked at Justin. "What are you doing?"
Justin smiled. "Nothing." He said. He sighed, as he looked at the floor. "B, there's something I need to tell you." Sabina nodded, as she sat up, as Justin sat down next to her. "I really don't know how to say this..." He began. "I'm going to tell you what's wrong with me... Why tell had to operate me. Why I have to go to treatments."
"What is it?"
His eyes instantly brimmed with tears. His bottom lips trembling. "I-I have-cancer." He said. Tears slowly slipping down his cheeks.
Sabina's eyes went wide. She placed her hand over her mouth. Her eyes brimming with. So, that's what he was hiding from everyone. Her body instantly became stiff. She was unable to move. The word cancer echoing inside her mind. "Oh my god Justin.." She gasped. "Wh-Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
He slightly shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno... I guess, it was because... I couldn't trust anyone." He said softly.
Sabina sighed. She slowly leaned over, as she gently wrapped her arms around him. Justin sighed, as he wrapped his arms around her. "Justin... I just want you to know that I'll always be there for you... No matter what."
Justin smiled, as he looked at her. "I know B." He said, kissing the tip of her nose. "There's... Something else that I want to tell you." This was it. He would finally confess his feelings to her. Sabina nodded for him to continue. He sighed, as he looked into her eyes. Just like he did the first time he looked into them when he first met her. "I love you." He said, softly. Sabina's eyes went wide. She sat quiet as she listened to everything he had to say. "I fell in love with you the first moment I laid my eyes on you. When I first saw you, I felt butterflies in stomach. It was a feeling that I have never felt, but it is one that I've felt everyday since that special moment. I love you more than anything. Every time I think about you, you always bring a smile to my face. I never thought I could love someone as much as I love you." Sabina's eyes brimmed with tears. She sat quiet, as she listened to him. Justin smiled slightly, as he slowly leaned over. His lips dangerously close to her. "As the days, the weeks, and months pass us by. I always seem to wonder... How is it, that I found a love, so genuine and pure? A love that shows the meaning of happiness... And the meaning of life... I never imagined that I would be able to find a love as wonderful as that... Never believing if it exists... Never believing if it could be true... I realize now, that I was wrong... All this time that we've known each other... I realized that I finally found that love... In you." He licked his lips slowly, as he looked deeply into her eyes. "I love you Sabina." He leaned over slowly, as his lips captured hers. Slowly caressing them passion and emotion. He slowly lifted his hand, running his fingers through her hair. He slowly moved his hand under her legs and lifted her in a cradle. He stood up slowly, their kiss never breaking. Sabina wrapped her arms around his neck, as Justin walked up the stairs.
