Justin sighed, as he walked into the arena. Only two more days left for his big tour. And the nerves were driving him up the wall. "Hey Justin."
"Hi Becky." He said, without looking at her, as he continued walking.
"Hey Justin! Are we almost ready? Only two days left."
"Yeah, alittle nervous but I hope everything turns out okay." He said. He groaned inwardly, as he kept walking straight. His mind else where other than where he was walking towards. "OWW"
His gym bag fell to the ground, as his body bumped roughly against another body. "Fuck! Why don't you watch where you're going!" He yelled, as he turned to look at the person, he had just bumped into.
"I, I'm sorry." Shannon said sincerely.
He picked up his bag, as he kept his gaze on her piercing green eyes.
"A- are you okay?"
"Yeah." He replied softly. He sighed heavily, his body being covered with goosebumps. "Um, b- bye." He said akwardly, as he walked away.
"Bye." He heard her softly say, as he walked away. He closed his eyes, her soft voice echoing through his ears.
He stopped quickly, as he turned around. Shannon was no longer in sight. But he could hear the sound director talking to her through the microphone. "Uh, get a hold of yourself Justin."
"Oh, hey JC."
"You look slightly distracted. What's on your mind?"
"Well, c'mon let's go watch the opening acts rehearse. These are the people that are going to make your tour kick ass!"
Justin laughed, as they took their seats in the audience. "Man, dude only two days left. I can't believe it. It's awesome, but I'm nervous and scared as hell."
JC laughed. "Relax dude. You know everything's going to turn out just fine. Just have positive thoughts."
"Okay Shannon. Let's pratice like we did last time." Justin and JC heard the sound director say, as they turned their attention towards Wade and Shannon. They sat back and relaxed, as they watched her prepare for her performance.
Justin cleared his thoart, as a sign of being uncomfortable around Shannon. He looked around, pretending not to be interested. But his attention soon turned back to Shannon, as she started singing.
" There was a time,
When I thought I was all alone.
just sitting by the window,
Waiting for you to come back home.
I never imagined,
How I could live without you in my life.
I dreamt about you so many nights,
Watching your handsome face smiling back at me.
And now that you're here with me baby.
I will never let you go.
I promise that I'll love you for the rest of my life.
Baby, please believe me,
I promise that I'll never let you go."
Justin sat quietly, mesmerized by the soft sound coming from Shannon's voice. It instantly covered his body with goosebumps, something that always seemed to happen everytime he was around Shannon, or even just hearing her voice would make him nervous. She began humming softly, as her song came to an end.
"Wow." JC beamed, as he stood from his seat, clapping loudly. "That was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard."
Shannon smiled, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "Thank you." She answered sweetly.
"Wasn't that beautful Justin?" JC asked, as him and Wade eyed him carefully.
"Oh yeah. It was nice."
Shannon looked at him, giving him a short nod, as she walked off the stage.
A stab of guilt shot through Justin's body, as he watched Shannon walked inside her dressing room. He stood up from his seat and jogged quietly towards her door. "Shannon?" He called quietly, as he knocked softly. "Are-are you okay?"
The door opened slowly, as Shannon stood before him. "What do you want?"
"I just wanted to come and see if you were okay."
"Why do you care?" She snapped.
"Why the hell are you bitching at me? I just came to see if you were okay and this what I get in return? You're a stuck up little bitch, you know that?"
Shannon's angry level rised, as the back of her hand slapped Justin's face. "Who the hell do you think you are, coming here and telling me all this huh? You don't know shit about me and you come here accusing me of being a stuck up little bitch?!" She yelled, as she pushed him against the wall. "You're the bitch in this situation. You've been completely rude and disrespectful, since the first day you saw me. I tried to be nice and friendly and this is the way you treat me. How the hell do you expect me to act?" She shook her head angrily. Her eyes were red with impending tears. "And if you think I'm going to quit the tour, then you can forget it. I love my job and I'm going to keep doing it. And if that means, that I have to ignore you for next six months, then so be it. So, you stay out of my hair and I'll stay out of yours. Have a nice life, and I hope your tour is great success." With that, she walked back inside her room and slammed the door behind her.
Justin stood quiet, staring at the closed door with the most bewildered expression on his face.
"Well, what do you say to that Mr. 'I Am A Badass.'"
"Well, she started it. I gave her a complient and she starts accusing me of being rude."
"Well, you weren't Mr. Friendly either curly. And frankly, I don't blame her for blowing up on you like that. Everything she said was true. You were rude to her and you still have been since then."
"Well, I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize to us Justin. You should be apologizing to Shannon."
"Well, I can't apologize now, she isn't talking to me."
"Dude, what do you expect jackass."
Justin sighed deeply, as he shook his head. "Well, I'm not going to apologize. She told me to leave her alone and she would leave me alone. So that's just what I'm going to do." Without another word, he picked up his bag and walked out of the arena.
