Chapter 23

* 1 year later *

"I'm glad you ya'll came." Lance said, as he, Julia, Sylvia, and the rest of the guys and their girlfriends sat in their living room.

"So, are you two nervous?" Sylvia asked. "Tomorrow's the BIG day."

Both Lance and Julia laughed. "Well, actually we are a little nervous... But we know that tomorrow is going to be a special day for the rest of our lives." Lance said, as he planted a soft kiss on Julia's lips.

"So, JC when's your wedding day?" Justin asked, jokingly.

JC blushed as he wrapped his arm around his girlfriend's shoulder. "I think Chrissy and I will wait a few more years."

"But you two have been dating for a year and 2 months." Joey said, as he held his daughter Brianna on his lap.

"Yeah, it's still early... You and Kelly dated for over 4 years andnow you two are married... Justin and Sylvia dated for over 3 years and now they're married... Lance and Julia have dated for over 3 years as well and they're getting married tomorrow... There's a difference."

Joey rolled his eyes. "Whatever man." Everyone laughed as they continued talking.

"I'll get it." Julia said, as she stood up and walked towards the door.

She unlocked the door and slowly opened it. "Hi, may I help you?" She asked, as she looked at the person standing in front of her.

"Yeah maybe... Is Lance home?"

"Um, may I ask who you are please?"

"Is Lance home?" The young women asked again.

"Who are you?"

"Listen, I don't have time for this... Is Lance home or not?"

"Excuse me? Who do you think you are coming to my house and talking to me like that?!?" Julia answered angrily. Everyone got quiet as they heard Julia arguing with someone at the door.

"Hey Lance, go see what's going on?" JC said.

"For reals, probably some fan found out where you live and she's bugging Julia." Justin implied.

The women at the door rolled her eyes and pushed Julia aside, as she walked inside the house. Julia gasped as she walked after her.

"Julia, baby what's--" Lance stopped, as he saw the women walking inside the living room. She stopped, as she saw Lance in the living room with the rest of the guys and their girlfriends. "A-Ashley?"

Sylvia arose from her seat. She placed her 2 month old baby carefully in Justin's arms. She looked back up. "What the hell are you doing here?" Sylvia asked angrily.

"None of your damn business that's what! That's what bitch!"

Sylvia's eyes burned with fire, as her fist crawled into a ball, ready to punch someone. Lance grabbed her arm, stopping her from doing anything... Sylvia calmed down; she sat back down and took her baby in her arms.

Lance sighed, as he looked at Ashley. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to tell you.... Not to marry Julia Davis tomorrow." She said, unaware that Julia was standing right behind her.

"Who the hell are you telling my finance who he can and can not marry?"

Ashley turned and looked at Julia. She laughed and looked back at Lance. "So, you haven't told her?" She laughed again.

Julia looked at her confused, then at Lance. "Tell me what?" She looked at the rest of the guys and Sylvia... The look on their faces, were telling her that Lance had been hiding something from for a long time. "What is she talking about Lance?"

Lance swallowed the knot forming in his throat. He looked at Ashley then at Julia. "Uh-Well-Uh...

"Just tell her Lance..." Ashley insisted.

"Tell me what? What's going on?"

Ashley sighed, as she looked back at Julia. "Your finance, Lance, has a long kept secret."

"What? What secret is that?"

Ashley looked back at Lance. "Are you going to tell her? If not, I'll do it."

"Ashley don't you dare." Lance said.

She rolled her eyes. "Listen honey... You and Lance can't get married..."

"Why not?"

"Because he--"

"Ashley! I'm warning you... Don't say it!" Lance yelled.

Ashley rolled her eyes again. "Your beloved Lance is a--"

"Ashley!! NOO!" Lance yelled, as he started walking up to her.

"He's a father." She finally said.
,br> Lance stopped. He dropped himself on the couch and buried his head in his hands. Julia stood frozen in her stance. She looked at Lance, then back at Ashley. "He's a--a father?" She gasped.

Ashley nodded. "Yup... He's the father of my 5 year old daughter."

Julia shook her head. Tears brimming at the edge of her eyes.

Ashley rolled her eyes and turned to Lance. "Um... Lance?" Lance looked up, his angry eyes looking back at her. "I have a surprise for you." "Now what?!?!" He asked angrily.

"Someone's been wanting to see for quite sometime now." She said, as she walked towards the front door.

Lance stood up as he heard her talking to someone. His eyes went wide, as he saw someone walk inside the house. A little girl, with light brown shoulder length hair and beautiful green eyes. It was the little girl from his dream. She walked into the living shyly. Ashley right behind her. Lance gasped, as he looked at her. "A-Allison?"

The little girl looked at him. She smiled. "Daddy?" Lance gasped, as Allison ran into his arms. "Daddy, it's really you." Allison said, as tears fell from her eyes. "It's really you..." She said, as she started to cry.

Julia sighed, as she looked at Lance hugging his daughter. Sylvia had told her, just a few minutes ago, that Lance hadn't seen his daughter since she was 2 years old. She saw the tears falling from Lance's eyes as he held Allison in his arms. She was upset at Lance, for him keeping a secret like this for so long. But, she was happy because he finally got to see his daughter after 3 years. Julia slowly wiped the tears that were rolling down her cheeks. She made her way towards the stairs without being seen. Just as she was about to walk up, she heard Allison starting to speak. "I love you daddy." Julia sighed more tears falling from her eyes, as she heard Lance softly say, "I love you too Allison." She took a deep breath and walked up the stairs. She knew there was choice to be made and it had to be made fast.

* The next day *

Julia sighed, as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. Covering her body was a white gown. Tight from the top and fluffy from the bottom. She sighed, as she heard a knock at the door.

"Who is it?"

"It's me baby... Lance."

"Lance, you know it's bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony."

"Please baby... I need to talk you."

Julia sighed. She walked behind the closet door, so Lance wouldn't see her in her dress. "Come in."

Lance sighed, as he opened the door and walked in, wearing his white tux.

"What do you want to tell me?" Julia asked, from behind the door.

Lance sighed. "I want to tell you that... I'm... Sorry."

"For what?"

"For yesterday... I should have told you about Allison when we first met."

"Why did you keep it from me for so long?"

"I dunno... I just I was... Scared."

"Scared of what?"

"I was scared that you were going to walk out of my life..."

"What made you think I would do something like that?"

"I dunno baby... I love you... I love you so much... I just... I just couldn't tell you about Allison... I didn't want to lose you."

"Lance... If you really love me like you say you do, you would have told me that you had a daughter... If you would have told me earlier, I wouldn't have been upset... I would have helped you, so you could see your daughter more often... I would never leave Lance... Never."

Lance sighed, as tears trickled down his cheeks. "I'm sorry baby... I'm so sorry."

Julia sighed. "You better go to the church now... The wedding is about to start."

Lance nodded. "Okay." He said, as he walked up to the door. "Ashley told me that I'll never see Allison again if I marry you... But, I don't care... I'm still going to marry you... I love you Julia Davis..." He said, his voice starting to crack, as tears fell from his eyes. "I'd rather not see my daughter than not marry the women that I love." He said and walked out, closing the door.

Julia cried softly, after hearing Lance. She knew he didn't mean it. She knows Lance can't live without seeing his daughter. She quickly wiped the tears and walked out of the room.

* At the church *

Everyone in the church sat quiet as the ceremony was in motion. Lance sighed, as he looked at Julia. Never in his life, had he seen such a more beautiful person. He smiled. He looked over her and saw Ashley standing in the back, with Allison in her arms. He swallowed the knot in his throat and looked back at the priest. "Do you, Lance, take Julia to be lawful wedded wife? For richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"

Lance sighed, as he looked at the priest than at Julia. He smiled. "I do."

"And do you Julia; take Lance to be your lawful wedded husband. For richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"

Julia sighed, as she looked at the priest. She looked at Lance, she sighed again.

"Miss Davis?" The Priest said... Waiting for an answer.

Julia looked over at Ashley, as she held Allison in her arms. Her eyes began to brim with tears as she looked back at the priest.

"Miss Davis... Do you take Lance to be your lawful wedded husband?"

Julia closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and opened her mouth. "I <%=title%>
