WIN - 17:7 to Dead Cell Unit.

This was meant to be a friendly match but due to myself messing it up it turned out to be a league match by accident. Whoops. Because of this we had to field our 'strongest lineup' however this was untested and so we knew from the start that our teamwork would not be as it should. However, we need not have worried as we controlled the match and won without too much trouble.

We began as CT's as we lost the knife round (I seem to recall Qwin was Tk'd by accident). Rewind kept rushing to B and then to A so we simply dropped the man guarding the middle and had him guard the bomb site they had assaulted previously. This allowed us to win 6 rounds as CT. As Terrorist we ran the show, winning all but one round and with all of us getting some good scores.

All in all it was a good performance for us - however it was spoiled slightly by RewinD attempting to claim a default win. Apparently because we used an AWP they had won by default. They of course, claimed this after about 3/4's of the game had been played. Their argument was that the 'no AWP' rule was in the match rules. We argued that it was us who made the open challenge (which we did, I made it myself) and that we put no such rule in. We also pointed out banning a gun etc was against ED rules anyway. After a few days they eventually acknowledged the result.

Man of the match goes to Tom for getting very good scores on both sides and playing well all game.

WIN - 20:4 to Dead Cell Unit.

Second friendly match - struggled to get into the game at first after going 3 down as CT first time around. Battled on and drew it back to 3:3. After going 4:3 down we came back to draw 4:4 and from then on didn't look back as we won every single round from this point on. We were pushed for most of the rounds but came out victorious still.

Man of the match goes to DcU|DO IT - for getting stupidly high scores and ripping the enemy apart more often than not.

WIN - 16:8 to Dead Cell Unit.

This was our first *official* friendly in that all the people we fielded belonged to DcU| and we had no mercs.

We won the knife round (despite myself being killed by a teammate) and went as Terrorist first. We won the terrorist round 9:3. As Counter-Terrorist we won 7:5. There were lots of positives to take from the match but not so many we can afford to be extremely confident about our next match. We played well and were never really pressured - it was never really a close match and was one that it looked like we'd win from very early on. There were some good moments that stood out including John; who had started playing CS only 13 days beforehand taking out 3-4 terrorists at once in about 20-30 seconds on his own when his only other team mate was at the other bomb site. John also went on to score quite well actually and had about 4:1 kill to death ratio at the end. We've still got a long way to go and some of us still have a lot to learn - but I think we did learn from this match and we enjyoed it which is always a good thing. Well done guys (p.s. my knife kill was simply beautiful).

Man of the match goes to John - first clan match and had only been playing CS for 13 days - did very well all things considered and surprised us all who had (no offence John) expected him to get slaughtered.
