FAQ
(what I imagine would be frequently asked questions, had anyone bothered to ask any questions at all)

Who Are You?
I myself am Matthew Harris, proprietor of Bob the Fish Magazines, thought at one time to be the only Doctor Who fan in all of North Cornwall.

Why Make This Magazine?
For the sheer fun of it. Magazine-writing is fun. And doing it online means I don't bleed money getting it printed. I make it for the love of it, give it away for the love of it, and if it's read, it's read for the love of it. Beautful in its way.

Are You Going To Keep Talking Like That?
Not if you don't want me to, no.

I don't.
Fair enough.

Hang on, is this, like, all written just by you?
Not any more. A certain Mr Morgan Jeffrey e-mailed me after #1 to ask about contributing. He's got a grand multi-part article for your eyes in preparation right now, but if you can't wait, he interviews one Martin Day in #2. All that, and he's kick-started our new, shiny reviews section. Good man.

Why An Online Fanzine?
Apart from the cost, and the love thang, the great advantage of doing an online magazine is that it doesn't tie us down to being the OFFICIAL FANZINE OF THE SUTTON-ON-TWEED BORAD APPRECIATION SOCIETY or anything. The Internet means we've got a circulation of potentially billions of people -- if we attract enough contributions, we can be the Fanzine of the World, reaching out and touching Doctor Who fans throughought the entirety of human civilisation.

I Told You Not To Talk Like That Anymore.
Sorry.

Why Are Some Of The Words Wonky?
Just a quirk of the emboldening and the PDF conversion process. There's nothing we can do about it, so just ignore it.

That's A Point, How Did You Make It?
Promise not to laugh? Microsoft Publisher. I tried it with Word but it gave me the urge to hurt people. After that I converted it to a PDF file with PDF995, a lovely little programme.

What's really shocking (although self-evident for looking) is that I made this website with Publisher too. Do you have any idea how expensive Dreamweaver is? We're not rich in Cornwall, you know.

So it looks like this has taken off a bit.
A little bit, yes. The Eyepiece was acclaimed by no less than the Celestial Toyroom.

So there'll be a #4?
You betcha.

Anything Else You'd Like To Say?
Read the magazine, enjoy the magazine. Whatever becomes of it, we've got tonight. And let's make it all we can.

Please Stop That.
What, you've never got carried away?
