Rodney Mullens Bio!
Rodney Mullen was born in Florida. Amazing that such a legend wouldn't be born in California. Mullen always wanted his own skateboard but everytime he asked he got a flat NO. Eventually, on New Years Eye of 1976, he got deal: any injuries and he lost his skateboard. But it never happened and Mullen became better and better. He began winning contests in Florida and then more inn California, home of skateboarding. In 1980, he went to San Diego and in a close contest, beat one of the best skaters of his time, Steve Rocco. Over the years, he became more and more famous. However, he felt that everytime he felt he got somewhere, he realized he didn't. With help from Steve Rocco and Mike Ternasky, he shifted into street skating. Behind him, he left a legacy. Many of the tricks in skateboarding he invented. He was one of the best skaters alive. And he probably still is.
