What is Dad-to-Dad? Dad-to-Dad was started in 1995 by Curtis Cooper here in Atlanta, GA. The group began as a way for full-time dads to get together with other full-time dads. At weekly playgroups, the kids get to enjoy playtime together, and the dads can talk about... uh... dad stuff. We also schedule field trips, family weekends, and (most importantly) dads' night out dinners. It's a great way to meet other guys who stay home with their kids, get out of the house and socialize, and not feel like "Mr. Mom." Since its inception, Dad-to-Dad has received much publicity through avenues as diverse as the Oprah Winfrey Show and Fortune Magazine. We have spread from the original Atlanta chapter to Virginia, North Carolina, Arizona, Kansas, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Maine, Illinois, and Southern California reaching for a time even as far as Finland. If you'd like to reach some of us, you can send us an email. For
general Dad to Dad info, contact Curtis
Cooper . He is the founder of the organization and can help dads in
other cities find or start a Dad to Dad chapter. If you're interested in
