Floor refinishing - for rustic look 

                                       House built in 1943

 Here's the walls/ceiling/baseboard  painted but floors still not touched

 3 pictures below Floor sanded with belt sander  - using 50 grit sandpaper 

5 pictures below - Used just 50 grit, nothing finer, cleaned dust and just covered with  a second  coats of poly (still wet) 

                                       Note raised grain

Anyone know the type of this wood?? Would like to hear any input on this job.
