This web site includes a discussion of the Book of Revelation, the last chapter of the Bible, which includes a description of a catastrophic sequence of events that some people believe are occurring now. These include earthquakes (such as the giant Indonesia earthquake and tidal wave in Dec. 2004), wars, diseases (such as AIDS and Bird Flu), economic chaos, weather changes (global warming and superstorms like Hurricane Katrina), and the rise to power of an evil dictator, called the Antichrist. He is identified by the number 666, this is Damien in "The Omen" movies. Also in Revelation there are the four horsemen of the Apocalypse -- the Antichrist, the conqueror, on a white horse; war, on a red horse; economic depression, on a black horse; and death rides a pale horse, and hell rides with him. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are said to ride as the Antichrist rises to power. Also in Revelation, there are descriptions of angels, but the angel there can be an angel of death, carrying plagues. There is also a description in Revelation 8 of what appars to be an asteroid or comet hitting earth, destroying much of life on earth.
The main events in Revelation:
Chapter 1: John, on the island of Patmos near Greece, sees the Angel, Christ himself, as he is exiled on this island after the death of Christ. This may be the John who was Christ's disciple, or it could be another John. The angel shows John visions of events to occur in the distant future, during a period of time in the future called the End Times. Christ refers to himself as "Alpha and Omega" to John in this vision, and since Alpha in Greek represents the number 1, and Omega represents 800, this gives us a number of 801.
Chapters 2-3: Letters to the churches existing at that time, John's instructions to the then existing early Christian churches.
Chapter 4: John sees a vision of heaven, and the four beasts and 24 elders in heaven. This could relate to the Grand Cross Astrology alignment of August 1999. This Grand Cross, which was one of the most amazing astrological alignments ever seen in history, consisted of: the Sun, Venus, and Mercury in the sign of Leo, Mars and the Moon in Scorpio with Pluto close by in Sagittarius, Saturn and Jupiter in Taurus, and Neptune and Uranus in Aquarius. If Scorpio is considered to be the Eagle, and Aquarius the man, then we have the four beasts seen in Revelation 4 that sit at the throne in heaven, that have the faces of an eagle, a man, a lion, and a calf. Note that in the month of August 1999 Russian President Putin, likely Antichrist, became second-in-command in Russia, later to become Russian President as year 2000 began, so this Grand Cross was related to the rise of the Antichrist.
Chapter 5: A lamb that has been slain is seen, I relate this to the large number of sheep being killed in England during the foot-and-mouth disease epidemic in sheep and cattle, this having peaked during Easter.
Chapter 6: The four horsemen of the Apocalypse ride -- the Antichrist, war, economic depression, death, and hell rides with death. The first rider on a white horse, with a bow and wearing a crown, is the Antichrist. The second rider, on a red horse with a sword, is war (and Muslim terrorism). The third rider on a black horse is holding scales, this is economic chaos. The fourth rider on a pale horse is death and Hell rides with him, with Death possibly due to disease - such as Bird Flu, SARS, AIDS and Ebola disease. Chapter 8: A series of great disasters on earth, caused by comets or asteroids hitting the earth, causing global destruction, poisoning the seas. Note that these chapters are probably not in chronological order. There are seven angels with seven trumpets, and the disasters hit earth as the angels blow their trumpets. There is a remarkable description in chapter 8 of asteroids or comets hitting the earth, considering what we know today about asteroid and comet collisions causing mass extinctions of life on earth in the past.
Chapter 9: A star falls to earth, and evil demonic forces come out of it. This could be a symbolic description of the Antichrist, the son of Satan, the devil. This chapter also seems to describe missles being launched, in Revelation 9:17. Also, in Revelation 9:11 it describes an evil demon from Hell, "The Angel of the Bottomless Pit", also called "The Destroyer, who I think is Osama bin Laden, who is not the Antichrist but rather an "unclean spirit" or demon, note the passage number 9:11 being the same as the attack date 9-11.
Chapter 10: An angel appears on earth.
Chapter 11: The two witnesses, two prophets, appear on earth and tell the world what is to happen, but people object to their predictions of disaster. Refer to the page on the mysterious prophet "Whats-your-name" who appeared in Pennsylvania U.S.A. in late 1999, I am not saying he is one of the 2 witnesses, but he is the type of mysterious prophet described in Revelation 11. Also, the two witnesses are called "two candlesticks" in Revelation 11:4, this could be referring to the twin towers of the World Trade Center (see this page), that in Revelation 11:7 are destroyed by the beast from the bottomless pit, who I think is Osama bin Laden.
Chapter 12: A woman seen in heaven is giving birth to a child, and an angry red dragon appears and is cast down to earth. This angry dragon could be Red Dragon of Red China and North Korea, or the angry dragon could be the Muslim terrorist dragon of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda.
Chapter 13: The Antichrist and the false prophet, the two sons of Satan, form an unholy trinity with their father satan the dragon, as they rise to world power. They will seem to work miracles, solving the problems of the world. The Unholy Trinity they form is a Satanic imitation of the Holy Trinty of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. This also may be describing Russia in evil alliance with the red dragon, Red China, which is taking place in the SCO anti-U.S. alliance consisting of Russia, Red China, and 4 central Asian nations. Russia and China had a joint miltary exercise in 2005. I think that Iran, Islam, and Mohammed may be the False Prophet.
Chapter 15-16: Seven angels with the seven plagues strike the earth with their plagues, including diseases, having the sun turn bright and scorch the earth with fire, a great earthquake, and the battle of Armageddon, a nuclear war. In 16:2, those who have received the Mark of the Beast, the seal of the Antichrist, and worshipped the Antichrist, are inflicted with a painful sore. In 16:3, the sea is turned to blood,and everything dies in the sea, and in 16:4 the rivers become blood. In 16:8 the sun becomes brighter and scorches the earth. And in 16:10 the Kingdom of the Antichrist (which I think is Russia) is plunged into darkness and pain. In 16:12, the River Euphrates in Iraq is dried up, so the army of the King of the East (Red China, probably) can cross it to the Battle of Armageddon (which I think may be in 2010). (Note that this river in Iraq is drying up, because of dams upstream, increased water supply use, and climate change). In 16:13-14, evil demonic spirits are sent out by the Antichrist to cause the world's leaders to send them to the Battle of Armageddon, which is World War 3. In 16:18, there is the greatest earthquake in history.
Chapter 17-18: A woman rides a beast; I think this is Europa, representing Europe, note on this page how Europe is sitting on the Muslim serpent. This woman goes up in flames, apparently the Muslim serpent destroys her. This I think is the Muslim invasion of Europe by immigration and Muslim terrorism destroying Europe, as evidenced by the recent Muslim riots in France.
Chapter 19. Christ appears at the Battle of Armageddon. Christ is able to defeat the Antichrist and his armies, and the Antichrist is captured.
Chapter 20: At the start of Chapter 20, Satan (which could mean the Antichrist) is captured by an angel who has the key to the bottomless pit. Satan is sent down to the bottomless pit for a thousand years. After a thousand years of peace on earth (the Millennium period described later in Revelation as post-Armageddon), Satan is loose on earth again, and another Armageddon occurs. This could mean a great war near the year 3000 A.D., possibly in 3010.
Chapter 21-22: A new world order with peace on earth, after the Battle of Armageddon, in the New Jerusalem. A thousand years of peace and prosperity on earth, after Armageddon, followed by another Armageddon. A city called the New Jerusalem descends from heaven. The New Jerusalem has twelve gates, and the walls have precious stones.
