HAVING OPENED FOR THE LIKES OF EEK-A-MOUSE & SLIGHTLY STOOPID,  THE EXPENDABLES ARE STARTING TO FILL THE  HOUSE  AS HEADLINERS WITH THEIR OWN SEAMLESS  BLEND OF ROCK, REGGAE, SKA AND SURF.

Pictured in their homebased lab, the ETCH BROTHERS, Omar and Aaron, as in Etcheverry,  have, on their 1st CD, brewed up a fetching batch of computer generated musical experiments and variations on a theme. This two headed entity appears on the verge of becoming Santa Cruz's formidable presence on the scene of all that is electronica, both physical and cyber. Read

other local electronica artists. The address will be www.musichitlist.com. You will see our CD in local stores soon. Our new CD should be for sale on it in a few weeks. I'm really exited about this new CD. We've learned so much since the first one.

CT: What hardware and software were used in this DIY production?
OMAR: Hardware: 2 fast PC's, an old scratchy record player, a Mackie mixer, Digitech DSP, Soundblaster Live soundcard, Shure microphone.
Software: Acid Pro 2.0, Soundforge, Cool Edit Pro, Frutyloops, Rebirth, and a few secrets...ha-ha.

CT: Any plans for selling the CD either locally or on the Internet?
OMAR: Yea, we are in the process of making an ecommerce website to sell our music along side with
