I have traveled around the world and it is the neatest thing to visit different places and meeting people.
I love getting out and meeting the people of the area. Especially in foreign countries. Then you learn that on the whole we are all alike. We all have hopes,fears and dreams. They just want to enjoy thier families and live a nice happy life. Doesnt matter what color they are or thier religious beliefs. They want the same thing.
And every place in this world has something that will imbed itself in your memory. Beautiful breathtaking scenry.
If I won the lottery then I would get in the car and drive, stopping wherever I felt I wanted to. And when I finished on this continent then I would head to the next.
There is nothing quiet as nice as standing beside a huge waterfall and feeling and hearing its power. Or standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon and looking down to see the river below looking like a stream of water coming from a faucet. Or the desert that looks dead in the day, but at night comes alive with creatures big and small and flowers blooming where you thought there was nothing but a dead twig. Standing at the foot of the Alps, Rockies or Mt.Fuji. What wonderous beauty God has given to us all. And we dont see it.
Most of us dont even know the beauty that is around us in our own area. We know the theme parks and the tourist traps. But that beauty that is there for free........we miss.
I am from northeastern Oklahoma and the rolling hills and lush farm land is an awesome sight to see.
Each place you go to has so much history to learn.But most of us pass this up too.
The next time you go somewhere, even walk around your nieghborhood,n otice the beauty around you. Just take in all that is there for free and breath in the beauty around you.
