"Spider, I don't know if this is much of a good idea…" he said, warily as she led him to the living room and sat down on the dark redish couch.
"What do you care? Come here…" Kendell pulled him down on the couch, stretching out over him, resting her head on his legs.
"Gangrel. He hates me you know. And once he finds out we're together, - "
"Kael, we're not together. We've fucked, but that doesn’t mean we’re together."
"Right then. Once he finds out I'm fucking you, he's going to get pissed. You know what he's like when he's mad…" Kendell smiled up at him.
"I've got him whipped. I wouldn't worry about it. He won't do a thing."
"What about what happened with Drasia?" Kendell took a deep breath.
"That doesn’t count. And you shouldn’t complain. If he hadn't screwed your girl, I wouldn't be laying on your lap right now." Kael cocked his head, and looked down at her.
"True." He shrugged and stated to say more before he jumped at the sound of the door opening and slamming shut. Gangrel was in the doorway, just staring at them. Kendell sat up, sighing in disappointment.
"What are you doing with him?" Gangrel roared, pointing at Kael who stared tiredly at him.
"I picked him up at a bar. Why?"
"he is not a friend, Kendell. He's not good…" Kendell rolled her eyes at him.
"Just because you're not his friend doesn’t mean I have to hate him." She pushed Kael back down on the couch, laying across him again, stretching languidly. "Besides, he's useful."
"For what?" Gangrel sneered, walking into the room. Kendell shrugged.
"A few good things I can think of…"
"Hey Spider, you now I am in the room?" Kael whispered, bringing his head down closer to hers.
"I know. Why are you offended with me treating you like a piece of meat?" Kael smiled widely, his fangs becoming increasingly visible.
"Oh, Kendell, you know I love it…" She laughed and grabbed his hair, pulling his head closer for a kiss, interrupted by a black vase being thrown, and crashing dangerously close to them, breaking to pieces.
"This is sickening." Gangrel berated them, standing right in front, as they rose off the couch. "You bring him here knowing full well - "
"Knowing what?" Kendell asked innocently, knowing that if he thought about it her way, he'd know he was wrong. She had him from the first day, knew exactly what drove him. And if she manipulated Gangrel's mind just enough, she could have Kael and him, or either one she wanted. If she played her cards right.
