"Twice in one night, Kendell? You're spoiling me." The bartender remarked as she grabbed her drink.

"Yea, some problems with a dead man." She answered, rolling her eyes. He smiled and nodded.

"I know all about - "

"Who's that?" Kendell interrupted, nodding towards the back booth where a man - a vampire was sitting alone. The bartender frowned.

"Kael." He said, dryly. "I'd stay away from him when he's angry and drunk. He's a little - " He stopped, seeing Kendell already walking over to the booth.

"Mind if I sit here?" She asked too sweet for her own good.

"Be my guest." Kael returned bitterly, mocking her tone.

"I'm Kendell." She said, trying for some reason to be nice as she slid into the seat across from him. He looked at her face, then something drew his eyes down towards her neck, her tattoo.

"You're one of Gangrel's."

"And?"

"He took my love away tonight, that filthy son of a whore." Kendell smiled slyly.

"Drasia was yours?" He narrowed his eyes and stared into his drink.

"Yes." Kael looked up at her impatiently. "What do you want from me? You might as well just kill me know, cause I bloody well think I'd be better off." He said, almost in a strained voice.

"Kael…that is your name, isn't it?" He nodded swiftly. "Kael…" She continued slowly, accentuating his name with played out sensuality, "Let me be the first to congratulate you. You're a free man."

"Well, I knew that. I felt her die. I was counting on offing her next week, but no, Gangrel had to spoil my fun, didn't he? Bastard…" Before letting him launch into a long monologue, Kendell began to speak.

"I've got a proposition. I want to get back at Gangrel, and apparently, so do you. Its kind like, I scratch your back, you scratch mine…"

"But more like I fuck you, you fuck me harder?" Kendell smiled and nodded.

"Bingo." She turned her head towards the door. "So, shall we?" He rose, and looked her over, loving the proposition more and more. Have a lovely young thing, and get back at an old enemy. It was great.
