Brad found Aimee at the bar a few hours later, with a huge tab, and headache. Though, she was quite sure she was feeling no pain, and barely being able to walk showed the extent of the damage.

"What the hell happened?" Brad asked her, after he had taken her to his room.

"Lenny is a bastard." She said, after throwing herself down on the bed, more of her bodies will than her mind's. Brad sighed, and sat beside where she lay.

"What did he do? No, never mind, you're in no state to talk about this. Just go to sleep for a while. We've got a plane to catch in a few hours." She groaned.

"I don't wanna go on a plane. Lenny'll be there."

"Shh, Aimee. Just go to sleep, okay? If you need anything, I'm gonna stay here. I'll wake you up when we have to leave." He still sat on the edge of the bed, watching until her breath became regular and deep, and he was sure she was asleep. Almost immediately, he got up and tried to call Lenny;s room, to see what was going on. There was no answer, and he didn't want to leave Aimee alone. He would just have to ask Lenny later. Aimee was a little more important that Lenny's usual childish tactics. She didn't deserve any of this shit from him, Brad thought, she puts up with too much of it. And it had looked like Raven was moving in on her now. Poor girl. The only chick in the group has to deal with all the assholes. He couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Aimee stirred, and rolled over, seeing brad watching her. She sat bolt upright.

"what the fuck are you doing?"

"Just making sure you're okay…that’s all. What the hell else do I have to do? Go back to sleep….you only slept for half an hour." She once again threw herself back down on the bed, and trying to sleep. All she could think about was Lenny and she started to cry, mummbling incoherantly about screwing everything up.

Brad was torn. He wasn't sure what he should do. Seeing her cry weighted heavily on him, but they weren't really close, just casual friends. He didn’t know why this was bugging him so much, but walked over to the bed, and with a sigh, sat down beside her. Aimee was still crying and mumbling stuff about lenny and Raven.

"Aimee? Are you okay?"

"Fuck no!" she said brokenly.

"well, are you gonna tell me whats up?" she looked at him and stopped sobbing for a second, then threw her arms around his neck, and sunk into his chest.

"What are you doing?" he asked, somewhat shocked.

"I need someone. And you're here." She looked up at him innocently.

"Aimee, I'm going to do anything with you. I don’t want to screw things up more."

"That’s not what I ment…I just need someone to stay with me until I feel better.."

"You know you're not going to remember any of this, right?" she winced.

"I don't care…just…lay down with me? Can you do that? I don’t want anything else except comfort…" looking down at her, and pondering the consequences, he decided to do what she asked. She smiled satisfactorily as she lay her head on his shoulder, and wrapped her arms around him.

They were both awoke by the click of the door. Brad opened his eyes first to see Lenny glaring at him, then at Aimee.

"You slut! Raven wasn’t enough for you? You need Brad too? My god, what is wrong with you?!" Aimee tried to sit up and make sense of his words, but the pounding of her head kept his words from having any meaning.

"Lenny, its not her fault. We didn't do anything. She literally drank herself into oblivion, and I decided to play the part of a friend, and help her out. Where the hell were you? You're supposed to be her best friend, more even, and you're nowhere to be found."

"Stop yelling…" Aimee begged, sitting herself up.

"See? She's hungover, and why did she drink Lenny? Can you tell me that? She just kept calling you a bastard..she didn't even want to get on the fucking plane!"

"its her own fault! She wants to go off with Raven, and now you, then fuck her! I don’t need her!"

"I am here you know! You can stop talking about me in the third person anytime."

"The way you've been acting, you don’t deserve to be talked about at all." Lenny said, as Aimee finally realised what the expression of one having daggers in ones eyes meant.
