"Time to go back Kalika."
"But I don’t want to go back. I don’t wanna go. Josh, tell them I don’t have to," Kalika said, being lifted by the men.
Her arms and legs flew through the air. "Josh, tell them." Kalika realized what was happening. She started to panic.
"Don’t let them take me Josh! Save me! Don’t let them take me! I don’t want to go!" she screamed out in terror.
"Kalika! Let her down!" Josh called. "Damn it, listen to me! Let her go! Kali! I’ll save you Kali!" To Josh, it seemed that every step he gained on his sister’s captors, they had ten steps on him. Kalika continued to scream. Josh ran and ran until finally he could see them no more. Alone, in total darkness, Josh fell to his knees. He started to cry.
"Josh..." came a familiar voice. "Josh...Josh...Josh...hey, Josh!" Josh’s eyes flew open. Matt was kneeling before him. "you okay?" Josh was paler than usual. His eyes flew up to the bed, where Kalika lay, motionless. She looked like a delicate porcelain doll. In essence, she was. It was possible that they might lose her if anyone touched her. Josh shook his head. Matt offered a glass of water, which Josh gladly accepted.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
"So...Christian said all we can do is wait?" Matt nodded. "Man. I don’t want to wait. I’ve already been waiting an eternity. I want her back now." Matt nodded again.
"I can’t say that I feel the same as you do, in the respect that you and Christian knew her better than any of us did. But I can say that I want her back too, even though I never got to know her. I mean, if she’s going to be staying with us then...well...she’s your sister, and I feel that I know you well. So....you know what I mean?"
"Yeah, I know."

Jeff lay back on his bed, glancing out his open window. ‘Damn,’ he thought. ‘I really hope that Kalika wakes up. Christian and Josh are a wreck. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them like this before. She seems like the person who would actually make this house a home. She seemed sweet enough. Oh well...’ Jeff’s thoughts drifted. He sighed. Glancing up at the door, he saw Matt standing there. Jeff raised an eyebrow. Matt lifted his hand, as if waving to him and Jeff sat up immediately. Jeff walked over to the door and followed Matt.
