Dakota heard the motorcycle pull up infront of the house. She had given up looking for Jeff each time she head a bike, and beside, Chris had gone out to get new movies so it was probably him pulling up. "Dakota, can you come down here a moment please?" Edge called up the stairs. Dakota walked barefoot down the stairs wearing a baby-blue ankle length spring dress. Her hair was pulled back in a pony-tail, her blonde hair falling in curls behind her. Edge was standing next to the door, with Christian, Matt, and Melissa on either side. Edge pulled open the door. Jeff was standing at the end of the walkway, a bouquet of flowers in one hand. Dakota put her hands over her mouth and almost fainted. She ran out the door, the morning dew wet under her barefeet. Jeff dropped the flowers, scooping her up into his arms. He lifted her and twirled with her for a few moments. He inhaled the scent of her hair, the scent he had missed so badly for the few days he had been gone. Dakota’s arms wrapped tighter around his neck as he slowed her to a hault. Jeff started rocking back and forth with her, singing softly to her, and to her alone. "I’ve missed you Jeff." "Dakota, I’ve missed you so much, more than you’ll never know." At that moment, Jeff’s lips found Dakota’s. As the two stood in their tearful embrace that was theirs, and only theirs, Edge and the others stood on the porch clapping and cheering. Cherry blossoms flew off of the trees in their front yard, as the wind blew softly, pushing their hair to the side. Jeff pulled her closer to him, and she was happy, feeling secure in his arms. She had missed him so badly, and now he was back. "Do you love me?" Dakota whispered. "Forever," Jeff responded. "Only forever?" "Forever......and ever."
