Dakota looked at Mike. "Are we going yet?" Mike nodded his head. "Let me put Clive away." She nodded her head. Dakota called to him, "I’m going to get changed. I’ll be right out." When she came back, Mike smiled. "You look beautiful," Mike commented. Dakota smiled and removed his hand from her hip. "Put your tongue back in your mouth and keep dreaming." Mike rolled his eyes. Dakota headed out the door and onto her bike. Mike got into his car and the two headed out to a club. Mike went inside first. He located Dave while Dakota fed on a young man in the back alley. It didn’t feel right with out somebody to share with. Her face flushed and colored and she located Mike when she went back into the club. She greeted Dave and they talked for a few minutes.
Matt, Jeff, Edge, and Christian walked into the club and scanned the room. A note was heard from the stage and they realized that the band was going to start. They made their way towards the stage. The first few songs were great. A girls voice floated up over melodic music and Jeff looked up. His gaze met a tall female. She had short blue and purple hair. The boy behind her was playing guitar, the boy to her left was playing the bass and another boy in the back was playing the drums. The girl had a black eye mask on over part of her face. Her crystal blue eyes held Jeff in a trance, but she did not see him staring at her. He whispered, "She’s an angel." Her hair hung in a loose wave behind her. She was wearing tight black velvet pants and a tight black tank-top. She had a red mesh shirt on over that and red/black arm bands. The song ended and Jeff found himself clapping. The band stopped to rest and Jeff called Matt over. "Brother, look at the angel that has fallen from heaven." Matt looked and couldn’t believe his eyes. The girl was beautiful. Edge and Christian agreed with Matt. Jeff went over to get a drink and ended up bringing back four beers only to see that the boys were talking to that guitarist. The drummer followed him. The bassist and the lead singer sat near the drums. Soon, the group went to perform again. The girl grabbed her guitar and stood near the drummer and played follow. The bassist was singing this song. By the end of the night, Jeff was so drunk he could barely stand up.
Edge, Matt, and Christian had to hand feed Jeff. Jeff awoke the next morning with blurred vision and a massive hangover. He stayed in his room the whole day and slept.
"Last night was awesome," Mike said, rolling over and glancing at Dakota. "I never played so well in my life." Dakota nodded and went to the window. "What’s wrong Cody?" She shook her head and went to the kitchen. She grabbed two beers and picked up the phone. She dialed Dave and John. They came over soon and the four had a mini band party. Dakota did not go back out until that night when she had to feed.
Jeff went out that night around 9:00 to feed. He found a man and fed off of him. Jeff strolled around town for a few hours. He got drunk again. The last thing he remembered was hitting the ground.
Matt went out that night also. Edge and Christian were down the street. They didn’t hear the sickening crack of the baseball bat connect with the back of the Hardys’ skulls. Edge turned and looked for Christian, but could not find him. Edge turned back around in time to see a knife bury itself in his chest.
Jeff opened his eyes and looked around. He tried to move his arms and legs but found them strapped to a table. BROTHER? EDGE? CHRISTIAN? WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? The three all responded at once. IN SOME HOUSE, STRAPPED TO A TABLE. I THINK WE ARE ALL TOGETHER. The boys agreed. Jeff heard screaming coming from another room. He would recognize that voice anywhere. "Dakota," Jeff whispered. The door opened, forcing bright light into Jeff’s eyes. He looked around and saw a figure descending the stairs. A knife was in the figures hand. Jeff immediately forgot the pain of his hangover and watched the figure stroll over to him. "Hello Jeffrey. Aren’t we the abuse little boyfriend." Jeff spit in the man’s face. He reached out and slashed Jeff’s face. "I wouldn’t do that if I was you," the voice hissed. "I have something you might be interested in." Jeff stopped struggling and listened.
