Jeff had finished hunting and was exhausted. The change always took away all his energy. He lay under the stars, debating what to do next. He should go to Dani, but had told her not to open the door to anyone. He sighed. Had he done the right thing in telling her the truth? They were both in danger now. Jeff stretched sleepily and struggled to his feet. He would go to her now and wait in the courtyard until she woke up. He went to his bike and headed to Dani’s.

Upon arriving, he knew something was wrong. Even though he couldn’t control his mental connection with his brother and the others, he always knew Dani’s thoughts. It pained him so that Matt had sent those terrible dreams to her. But now, he couldn’t sense her at all. It was as if she weren’t even home. "She has to be," he said to himself, "I told her specifically not to leave or open the door." He crept around the side of her apartment and leapt the 10 feet to her bedroom balcony in one easy motion. He peered into the window, but couldn’t make out anything inside. He quickly made his way back down and to the courtyard in back. As he rounded the corner, something hit him. Hard. He was thrown from his feet and skidded across the bricks. He looked up to see his brother, Matt, hovering over him. Matt reached down and grabbed Jeff by the neck.

"You stupid bastard. Did you think you could change things? Don’t you know that you have no control? I’m the one in control."

"What did you do with Dani, where is she?"

Matt laughed evilly. "Why baby brother, she’s right here." Matt whistled and soon Edge and Christian appeared from the shadows. They walked towards Jeff side by side and then parted. Behind them stood Dani. She was dressed in a black paten leather jump suit. It hugged her curves as though it were painted on. She wore black spiked heel boots that stretched up to her knees. Her hair seemed to have a life of its own as it encircled her head and body. There was something in her eyes that Jeff didn’t recognize at first. He stood shocked looking at her. If this were any other situation, he would have loved her in those clothes, but this wasn’t. His brother and his goons had done this.

"Danielle," Jeff said. Dani turned and looked at him. Her stare was blank and unseeing. "Danielle, what have they done to you? It’s me, Jeff. Dani, talk to me!"

The three men laughed at Jeff. "Damn it, what have you done to her?"

"What haven’t we done," Edge commented, teasingly. Suddenly, Jeff’s mind was filled with visions of Dani and Edge. She was naked, bound to a bed by her hands and feet. Edge stood naked over her, torturing her. She cried out in pain as he violently took her to himself and forced himself inside.

"God Damn you!" Jeff swore and lunged at Edge. Edge easily avoided his attack and Jeff lay sprawled on the ground again.

"I’m going to kill you when I get my hands on you."

"Yeah, well, I’m scared," Edge said sarcastically.

Christian walked over to Dani. "Dani, my love?"

Dani looked at him and her eyes softened. "Yes?"

"Why don’t you tell Jeffy here what has happened."

"I’ve been completed," she said and smiled at Christian lovingly. Again, the visions returned. Only now Christian was with her. She was dressed in a flowing see through robe. She went to Christian and slowly let the robe fall from her shoulders. She took his head in her hands and brought him close. He kissed her passionately and carried her to the bed. Visions of them making love filled Jeff’s mind. She was completely willing. Jeff shook his head to rid himself of the sight. He looked to Christian who shot an evil eye at Jeff and he took Dani in his arms and kissed her deeply. Jeff turned away, unable to take in what he was seeing. He looked up as Edge moved behind Dani and joined the two, kissing and sucking on her neck and shoulders.

Tears stung Jeff’s eyes. "Matt, I don’t understand. Why her? Why Dani?"

"Don’t you know? She is our completion. Our seventh and final member."

"Seventh? There’s only 5 of us what are you talking about?"

"Oh, there are two more you aren’t aware of yet. They should be arriving soon." As if on queue, two figures emerged from the shadows. Recognition crossed Jeff’s eyes as he took in the taller of the two. It was the bartender from Tony’s. No wonder. The second man he didn’t recognize, but assumed it was one of Matt’s little transformations. "Jeff, may I introduce you to Taker and Jericho."

"I’d say nice to meet you, but it isn’t," Jeff replied.

"Jeff, Jeff, Jeff," Matt addressed his younger brother, "Why are so against this? Don’t you know how strong we will be now? Why… we could rule the world! And all because you brought us our precious Danielle. There’s only one more step and we shall be complete."

"NO!" Jeff yelled, "Don’t you dare! She doesn’t deserve this life."

"What, are you going to stop me, little brother?" Matt laughed. "You can’t stop me and you know it."

"I may not be able to stop you, but I can stop Dani!" Jeff quickly ran to her side, surprising the men who continued to fawn over her, and scooped her up in his arms. He ran to his bike, struggling to get it going while getting Dani on board. "Please, Dani, help me. You have to hold on," Jeff pleaded. He finally got the bike started and wrapped her hands around his waist, holding her with one hand and steering with the other. They careened through the small town and out towards the country again. All the while he could hear Matt in his mind, cursing and yelling at him to return, and then barking orders to the remainder of the group to go after them.
