Jeff knelt beside the graves of Matt and Lily. He placed a handful of purple and blue posies upon them. He looked up when Christian placed his hand upon Jeff’s shoulder. Jeff nodded his head. He reached out, touching the gravestone. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Christen asked. Jeff nodded. "All right," Christian said. Jeff closed his eyes, kneeling. The feel of warm blood trickling down his neck was the last thing he felt. When he opened his eyes again, he was still kneeling. A hand was still upon his shoulder. He looked up, and met the smiling face of Lily. "You see, I told you we’d be together." She took his hand, and led him off, Matt trailing at the rear.

Christian tipped his hat at the new grave, the three of them in a row. He turned, sitting upon his bike. Slipping the key in, and putting the bike in gear, he rode off into the sunset, answering the call of the open road.

You see? I told you it was a story worth hearing. And one definitely worth remembering. I can’t say that I’d do it again, if given the chance. But I will admit that things could always be worse. I have Lily and Matt again, Gabby and Edge have each other wherever they are, and Christian is enjoying himself on the road. I definitely agree with this: "Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever."
