"oh, quiet." He said, softly, leading her to the front desk, where they both checked out.

"You eaten yet?" he asked, as they walked to the parking garage.

"Nope."

"Then we’re going out for breakfast." She smiled as he opened the trunk and put his bag in.

"where?"

"Wherever you want."

"well then I would have to say macdonalds. I haven't had breakfast there in ages." He burst out laughing and got in the car, as she did.

"I'm not eating there."

"aw, come on! You said anywhere, and I want to go to Macdonalds." He raised his eyebrows at her, and then started the car.

"Macdonalds it is." He said with a sigh, before turning up the radio. Helloween's Metal Jukebox. Claudia's fave new cd.

"You like german revival metal too?" she asked with a grin.

"If you call it that, then yea. Helloween are the definitive metal band from Germany. No one's finer."

"If I may beg to differ…."

"No, you may not. Case closed. So where is the nearest Macdonalds anyways?" Chris asked, pulling out of the driveway, onto a busy street.

"Just keep going straight, and BOOM, you'll see it before ya know it. And shut up, this is my favourite song." She said, turning up the volume until her ears rang. No other way to listen to Helloween. Claudia was too busy listening to the music, as was chris that neither of them noticed the macdonalds on their right.

"shit. We passed it Chris."

"huh?" he asked, still listening to the music.

"The Macdonalds. Now where are we gonna eat?"

"Thank god its not gonna be there." Chris said, somewhat sarcastically. She shot him a dirty look that he didn't see, or perhaps chose to ignore. "well, you live in this town, were are we gonna go?" she thought about places that had breakfast, and not being able to come up with any, formed a plan.

"Do you fly out today?"

"Nope, my flights at 10pm. We got the whole day."

"In that case, you’re coming to my place, and I'm making breakfast. You have no choice. That’s whats gonna happen, so turn left right now."

"If I have no choice, then I must." And he did. Claudia directed him to her place, which was an apartment above a music store.

"You live in the most perfect place in the world…" he commented as they walked through the store to the back, taking stairs up to her apartment.

"Its nice. I'm never without music. Get free cd's too. Mostly bargain bin shit that no one wants, where only I can see the value." Claudia pulled keys out of her pocket and opened the door.

"No one else lives with you?" Chris asked, entering behind her.

"Nope. Well, my brother when he gets kicked out of the house, but that’s all. He's in good standing with my mom now." She walked into the kitchen, and Chris followed.

"So, we're here alone then?" he asked, a grin rising on his face. She grinned back.

"yea…why? I'm just making breakfast for you….You have something else in mind?"

He just continued to grin at her, taking a seat at the kitchen table.

"Well, have you ever seen that movie 'La Buffet?'"

"The name sounds vaguely familier, but I can't say that I have…" Claudia said, reaching into the fridge to grab some sort of food, or food-like substance. Chris chuckled under his breath.

"Is there a movie place around here? We really should see it. It explains the food/sex connection perfectly." Claudia whipped her head around and raised her eyebrows.

"Is that what you thought I meant by breakfast? I took it as a place to showcase my incredible cooking skills, which was not what you had in mind, I guess. Miscommunication, I suppose."

"come on, Claudia, there's no one else here, and I bet you've got whip cream in that fridge…" she stood opened mouthed looking at him. "Well, I'm right, aren't I?"

"Chris…I….well, yea, I do have whip cream. But that doesn't mean anything!"

Sure it does! Or, rather, it can." He got up from the chair and made his way to the fridge, searching for the can of whip cream, and pulling it out, slamming it down on the counter.

"Its your call." He remarked, looking at her as she bit her lip in thought.
