"Jericho wants you in his room after this set." She was shocked. Saying no didn’t even cross her mind.
"Sure. My pleasure." She smiled as he handed her a laminate.
"This'll get ya in. No problems." He left and Claudia looked back at the stage, where Chris had been watching, and he sported a smug grin. Flipping his hair back, he announced that this was their last song of the night. The band broke into 'the Trooper'. As they finished and retreated backstage, Claudia waited for her brother, to give him some money. She didn’t plan on sticking around to drive him home. When he asked her why, she gave him the run down and then gave him a twenty. He was looking at her in disbelief.
"Don't wait up for me!" she said teasingly as she strutted off to the backrooms. She showed the laminate as needed and found her way to Chris' room. It was small, and he didn’t have to share with Rich and the others. She saw his shirt draped across the arm of the couch and he sat in a chair, facing away from her. All she could see was blonde curls.
"Uh….Chris?" he turned and rose.
"You must be the girl from the back of the club. I noticed you. What's your name?" he has inches away from her, staring with his blue eyes. She almost forgot her name.
"Claudia." He grabbed her hand from her side and pressed it his lips. She nearly lost her bearings at this move.
"What a beautiful name. It suits you. I'm Chris, though you already know that." She was speechless. He seemed like such a jerk on tv and on stage, but she was amazing at his politeness.
"Yea, my brothers a huge fan." She managed to choke out as he led her to the couch and they sat down.
"You're not?" he raised his eyebrows. She laughed.
"I stopped watching wrestling a while ago. I've seen you before a couple of times though. I love your hair." He laughed and pushed it out of his face.
"SO what do you do, Claudia?"
"I'm a writer. I write comics and do some freelancing, mostly music reviews an stuff."
"Really? I majored in journalism. Never used it though, but it helped with my mic skills."
"Oh, I'm just going into college this year." He looked surprized.
"No way. How old are you?"
"I'm perfectly legal, I'll have you know. I'm 19." He sighed with relief, glad not to have a minor on his hands.
"Why? What where you planning on doing with me tonight?" she smirked slightly upon asking the question.
"Well, I was gonna ask if you wanted to come to my hotel room and watch a movie, if you want. Why, what did you think?"
It doesn't matter what I did think. All I can think of now is saying yes." She whispered slightly. He leaned in closer and took her hand in his, resting the other one on her shoulder.
"Don't think about it. Just say yes." He tilted his head to kiss her, and their lips met in a short, albeit sweet kiss.
