Kael drove frantically down the empty roads, gunning at his gearshift, trying to make his cruiser go any faster. "Come on…" Kael whispered to himself throwing his gearshift back into 1st. They skidded up and down the streets, taking any shortcut that would make him get to Edge’s place faster.
Gabrielle grabbed onto the door handle tightly. With no seat belts in Kaels cruiser she found it difficult to be still as she made numerous sharp turns around street corners. "Kael, Calm down," she ordered loudly. "You’re gonna kill us both."
"Newsflash Gabby!" Kael yelled skidding down the alley. "We’re already dead!" He stomped down on the gas pedal as hard as he could, gunning his car as much as it would allow. He smashed through a pile of garbage cans, trash flying everywhere as he heard a cats cry in the background. He looked back over his driverseat and out the back window, seeing the cat lying in the middle of the alley. "Bloody hell," he argued, facing forward again. "I finally hit one of those repulsive creatures and I’m not even somewhat happy about it." He bit his lower lip as she switched to 2nd gear. "HOLD ON!"
Christian was unconscious on the kitchen floor when Kendall bounded downstairs, looking around before coming to Ravens aid.
"I can handle this one," Raven yelled over to her. "Get Christian, he’s in the kitchen." Edge tried to stop her but was quickly blocked by Raven. "GO!" he ordered.
She ran into the kitchen, finding Christians limp body as soon as she entered.
"Do it!" Raven voice yelled into her head "Do it Spider, Shoot him." Edge got up slowly, lunging towards the fallen crossbow. Raven kicked it away, further down the hallway. "Just like old times huh Edge?" he asked laughed as he followed a slow moving Edge back into the living room. "I should have killed you when I had the chance." Edge gritted between his teeth.
"You’ll never have the chance again," Raven laughed heading closer to him.
Kendall closed her eyes for a second, hearing Ravens voice in her head again. "What are you waiting for? DO IT!" She pointed the gun down towards Christian just as he had opened his eyes. He looked up at her, sadness filling his face as she closed his eyes, pulling the trigger.
