Kendall tossed and turned in her bed. She was having her dreams again, the ones of death. In the back of her head, she heard Ravens voice. He was telling her what he had told her at the pier. About his brothers death. She awoke, and sat up in a sweat, letting out a soft breath when she felt Kaels hands over her shoulder. She looked over at him, his concerned eyes gazing back at her. "It’s ok," he whispered pulling her back down to bed. She lay her head on his bare chest as he stroked her face softly. "It was just a nightmare" he soothed. "Everythings ok now."

Outside Raven laughed menacingly to himself, rolling his cigarette in his hands as Kendall closed her eyes again. He was satisfied in what he had done. Forcing his memories into her dreams was a sure way she could know all the horror and death that went on so many years ago.

Gabrielle sat at Christian’s bedside. Edge paced Christian’s bedroom as he told them of his conversation with Kael.

"So Raven’s still alive?" Christian softly asked, shaking his head. "But how can this be?"

"I really don’t know. But I do know for sure that he is alive and he’s back. I don’t want you guys to worry about this, but I do want you to be careful." Edge sat down next to Christian. "Ravens probably the one who did this to you and now that he knows your week, I have a feeling he’ll be back." "So what can we do?" Gabrielle asked, turning to face him. "I don’t honestly know," Edge told them both, looking from Gabrielle to Christian. "All I can say is that we have to be on guard. Be ready for what might happen."

Christian nodded as Edge and Gabrielle got up, turning to leave the room. Edge stopped turning to Christian before he shut off the lights. "Get some rest." Edge whispered over to him. "I’ll be up tonight keeping watch." Christian gazed out his window as Edge shut off the lights, closing the door behind him. He looked out across the street, saddened when he only saw darkness, and not Kendall, who he had seen the night before.

Raven was at home, behind a make shift wall he had built behind his chair. He had built it there cause no one would ever dare step 5 feet near his chair when he wasn’t around, so he knew that would be the safest place. He looked through the rack of hunting knives and crossbows, smiling at all his little toys in front of him. He packed the ammo and extra arrows into an old gym bag, stopping for a second to look at a photo of him and his brother when they were kids. He touched the photo softly, tracing his fingers down the glass. "This ones for you little brother." His eyebrow raised when he heard the beads in Kendall’s doorway jingle. He stepped out, pushing the wall back when Kael came into view. Kael leaned on the doorway, facing Raven. "Going somewhere are we?" Raven turned to face him, grabbing his cigarettes off the crate next to him. "Can I help you with something?"

Kael walked closer, crossing his arms over his bare chest. "As a matter of fact, you can. Were you going to tell me just what in the hell is going on?" Raven placed a cigarette between his lips, lighting it quickly. "I wasn’t planning on it." He let out a thick puff of smoke, as Kael edged closer. "I don’t care if you were planning on it or not," Kael told him. "You’re going to tell me."

Raven glared at him, whipping of his glasses as Kael continued. "If Kendall is going to be involved in this, whatever it is, I want to know what’s going to happen."

Raven walked towards his counter, grabbing a bottle of tequila. He opened it, pouring 2 glasses, handing one to Kael. "Simply put, we’re gonna kill them." Kael drank his tequila shot quickly, slamming the glass back on the counter.

"That’s it? You’re gonna kill them? Well what makes you think you can?" Raven placed the bottle back in its place, heading back to his chair, sitting down. "When my brother died, he gave me his blood. I also got his power. Kendall and I can do it all. I trained her well. She knows what she’s doing and won’t get hurt."

"Can you guarantee that?" Kael asked him, watching for his reaction. Raven thought for a moment to himself when Kael cut in again, this time a bit louder. "CAN YOU!?"

Raven ignored Kaels questions and continued smoking his cigarettes, when Kael chimed in again. "Well I guess I’m coming along now too, aren’t I?" "This is not your fight," Raven quickly told him as he got up angrily. "Yea well it’s not hers either," Kael shot back, just as angry, stepping up to Raven. "If you’re not going to guarantee her safety, then I’m bloody well coming alone and I’ll guarantee it. I am not going to let her die for you or anyone else."

Kael turned to walk away. All the emotion and anger inside him made him feel like he was going to explode and thought it would be better to leave, before he did something they would both regret.

"Kael," Raven called out to him. Kael took a deep breath before stopping, turning to face Raven once again. Raven grinned to himself, tossing his cigarette on the ground before crunching it under his boot. "Maybe we can use you."

It was all planned for the next night, as soon as the sun went down. Raven had kept a watchful eye on Edges home and knew that Gabrielle hadn’t been out or fed in almost a week. She was getting hungry and restless. From what he had heard she was planning on making an early stop at the BlackOut. Obviously she would be alone, cause after all, Edge wasn’t about to leave his helpless brother all alone. Gabrielle had promised she’d be safe and wouldn’t be out long. Just long enough to feed. And although Edge was worried, he allowed it.

Gabrielle was on her way home the next night, a smile on her face. She had just fed not more than 20 minutes ago and now felt complete. She stopped for a second feeling an uneasy presence around her. She was about to turn around when 2 strong arms grabbed her viciously, dragging her into the night.
