"I want to go to Romania," Lily said one day, sitting in Matt’s lap watching The Lost Boys.

"Why?" Jeff asked, jealous of the attention Lily was giving his brother.

"Maybe because she wants to. Did ya ever maybe think of that Rainbow Brite?" Gabby responded.

"But he’s not Rainbow Brite. I am. He's Starlite, " Lily retaliated. Matt tousled a handful of her red and black hair.

"How do you figure girlie?" Edge asked.

"Didn’t you ever watch Rainbow Brite?"

"That was a girl show. Why on earth would I watch that?" Edge defended.

"I forgot, that was before your time," Lily added with an evil grin.

"Why you," Edge growled playfully. He grabbed a pillow and threw it at her. She ducked and it nailed Matt, who pouted.

Everybody laughed except Lily, who kissed him softly. He smiled.

"So why am I Starlite?" Jeff implored.

"Oh, because he was the one with the rainbow hair. Rainbow Brite had red hair. And," Lily added with a grin, "Starlite was a boy. And by red hair, I mean natural, not Manic Panic," Lily said, reaching up and tugging playfully on a strand of Jeff’s hair.

"I know the real reason why she wants to be Rainbow Brite," Gabby said. Everybody looked at her with building curiosity.

Lily raised an eyebrow, looking at Gabby with curiosity as well. "Cause Rainbow Brite was always riding Starlite." Everyone laughed, and Lily stuck her tongue out at Gabby.

"You are soooo wrong," Lily started, laughing along with them. Lily noticed that the closet door was open. She climbed out of Matt’s lap and walked over. She grabbed Twister out of the top of the closet and walked back. Jeff leapt up off the couch and snatched the bow from her hands, tackling her to the carpet in the process. Gabby laughed and shook her head.

"Kids," she said to nobody in particular. Matt and Edge looked up at her.

"Don’t act all superior, Gabby. Don’t you remember when you were their age?" Matt asked.

"What the hell are you talking about, Matt? You’re the same as your brother," Gabby said.

"I meant in mortal years. You know what I meant."

"Even at their age, I was never that immature." She waved her hand over at Lily, pinned underneath Jeff and giggling like an infant. Matt nudged her elbow with his.

"Lighten up. Everyone should be immature sometimes. Even if they are more than 200 years old." Gabby shook her head defiantly.

"Immaturity shows lack of intelligence."

"So does being a boring stick in the mud." She sighed grandly, turning away from him and crawling over to Edge.

"Remind me again why we're living here?"

"Because you fell in lust with that rainbow head." He pointed over to Jeff, still playing with Lily as if they were children. Gabby sighed contentedly, resting her head on her hand, and gazing at Jeff.

"Oh yeah…But its not like I'm gonna get him anytime soon." Edge frowned at her.

"Well, you don't really need him, do you? I mean, you've got me." She groaned, starting to slink away from Edge, but he caught her arm.

"Don't start this now." Gabby could feel everyone's eyes on them; Even Lily and Jeff had stopped playing to watch. Edge stood up, pulling her with him.

"Fine. We're going to the kitchen then." She sighed in defeat, looking out at everyone else, noticing them looking away as she stepped in the kitchen.

The next few minutes were punctured with yelling from the kitchen, a few bangs of things being thrown around and finally the backdoor slamming loudly. Lily glanced up at Matt from where she'd curled up in Jeff's lap and he looked over at Christian who frowned.

"Edge left." He informed them, looking expectantly at the kitchen door, waiting for Gabby to come out.

"Why do they fight so much?" Lily asked no one in particular, then sighed as the door swung open. Gabby took long, quick strides over to the couch, sinking down beside Christian.

"We fight because he's an ass, that’s why." She grumbled in response, resting her head back against the couch.

"Gabby, shouldn't we go look for Edge?" Lily asked softly.

"You can, but I'm not going searching for him."

"Well why not?" Jeff asked, joining Lily in the interrogation.

"Because. He's a jerk and I'm mad at him. That's why."

"But he'll miss you. He loves you," Christian chimed in.

" Like hell he does! Why did he get so defensive?"

"Because he doesn't want to lose you to someone as gorgeous as myself."

"Oh Jeff, Be quiet. You're not making this any easier for her," Lily reprimanded. Jeff nodded sheepishly. "Edge just probably doesn't want to lose you ever. He needs you, and you need him. I can tell."

"Really? How do you know, Lily?"

"I just do. I can see it in your eyes." Gabby looked around at the four concerned faces.

"Thank you..." Lily ran over to hug her.

"That's what friends are for, aren't they? Now let's go find Edge, eh?" Everybody climbed to their feet. Christian, with Gabby in tow, revved up his bike. Jeff and Lily took a seat upon Jeff's bike, and Matt lead on his own. The group headed towards 'The Appertoire,' the usual night-club they frequented. If Edge was anywhere in the city, he'd be there.
