"Bloody hell, Gabby, let me sleep."
"No, you already had sleep. You don't need anymore." He moaned and finally opened his eyes.
"God, I've missed seeing you in the morning." Gabrielle smiled at his words, and leaned over him.
"Wanna go somewhere?"
"Gabby, I'm too tired - go downstairs and putter about with the other men in the house while I wake up, will you?"
"Yea, I guess. I owe Christian an explanation about last night…but will you get up?" She asked, thinking he probably wouldn't.
"I know, I know." He thought for a moment. "Half an hour, right love? Then we’ll go and - wait, why the hell do you want to go out?" Gabrielle rose off the bed, a sly grin on her face.
"Remember this morning when you said I should get something pierced?" Kael's eyes opened wider and he sat up hurriedly.
"You've decided then?" She nodded. "Where?"
"Its gonna be a surprise. You'll find out when I make you get one in the same place."
"You realise that just ruled out a lot of places…" She shrugged.
"And the sooner you get up, the sooner we get to play." Gabrielle finished, turning and walking out of the room.
"Gabby, don't leave me hanging here…" He heard her sharp laughter from halfway down the hall.
"I doubt you'll be hanging…"
"Shit…" Kael swore under his breath, watching her walk down the hall. "How am I supposed to wait that long?"
Kael sat in an uncomfortable chair in the front of the tattoo and piercing place Gabrielle had dragged him into. She in the back, in the curtained off area, where he couldn't see what was going on. She assured him he'd love it. Alternating between glancing nervously at the people walking by, and trying to peer into the small back room, Kael, though he wouldn’t never admit it, was on edge.
"Its just a hole through my body," he told himself quietly, "Its not going to be the death of me." He nearly leapt to his feet when the curtain was drawn back, and Gabrielle stepped out. Kael rushed over to her, grabbing her shoulders and looking intently at her face. Nothing. Ears. Nothing. "Gabby, where is it?" He asked raking his hand through his hair. "Your tongue?" she shook her head. "Hell, Gabs, where is it?"
"You'll see soon enough. Now its time to get yours done." Gabrielle responded, pulling him behind the curtain.
"My what?"
"Sit." She commanded, pointing to the slightly reclined chair. A woman stood beside it, pulling on gloves. She looked up at Gabrielle.
"Does he know?" Gabrielle shook her head.
"He will soon. Do your work."
"Kael, your name is?"
"yea…" He responded, trying to hide the nervousness in his voice.
"Alright Kael, take of your shit." He stared in shock first at the woman, then at Gabrielle.
"I'm not - "
"If you don't do it, I'll do it for you." Gabrielle moved close, starting to tug at his black T-shirt. He pulled away, grumbling.
"Alright, alright." He mumbled, pulling it over his head and tossing it at Gabrielle. "Wanna tell me now?"
"Fine. Well, telling you doesn't have the same effect. I'll show you." She said, yanking her black shirt up, almost over her head. Kael stared in awe at the glint of a silver ring coming from her left nipple.
"Bugger all…" He remarked quietly. "That hurt?" She shook her head.
"Not a bit. Now get yours done. You promised." Gabrielle pulled her shirt down as she reminded him of the promise he had made. He laughed, his gaze torn between Gabrielle to the sharp object in the woman's hand.
"So I get to have something sharp thrust through a very sensitive area of my body?" Gabrielle smirked.
"Right now." He bit his lip, then shrugged happily.
"Fine. Pierce me."
Five minutes later, he was sitting, still in the chair, flicking his finger over the ring, smiling proudly.
"I like it." Kael said, looking over at Gabrielle to see her reaction.
"Its nice Kael…" She said back, laughingly. "I like it too."
"Good." She tossed him back his shirt. Kael looked over at her, eyes dark with evil intentions. "Shall we go home and play with the new accessories?" Gabrielle grinned back, with thoughts just as evil.
"We shall."
