Matt yawned and stretched his legs out, his arms around Gabby’s waist. "Someone's sleeeeppie," she whispered. He shook his head

"No not really....I'm not an old man you know." She poked him.

"Then why'd you yawn?"

"Because...lack of oxygen flow to my brain,’ he said, administering a laugh from his brother.

"Sure sure. I believe you."

"Yeah...I know. Besides...I gotta stay up..."

"Why?"

"Because..."

"That’s not an answer," she complained.

"You said you was going to do something later and I wanna be awake to see what it was. I'm curious to say the least."

"Heh...I bet you are."

"I bet I am too." Gabby yawned and stretched.

"Geeee, I dunno if I can make it much longer." Lily was singing softly, her voice barely audible.

"You liar. You're young...still full of energy..."
"But Matt, I've had such a long day."

"Oh, and I haven't?" he asked.

"Which is why we should be slumbering peacefully."

"But you promised," Matt whined.

"I...umm..I don't know if I wanna though...."

"So then don't. I don't care either way."

"But...maybe later later..like, a few days later, kay?" Matt nodded. "So patient..." Gabby mused. Lily poofed herself into a pair of flannel snowflake pajamas. She poofed Jeff into his flannel pajama pants too. "My tuuuurn." Gabby poofed herself into flannel pants and her ancient big blue sweater, and poofed Matt into flannel pants too. Lily snuggled up with Jeff and poofed a black fleece blanket.

"I'm not tired...." Lily said.

"I think I am," Jeff repiled, yawning.

"You're old though...."

"Older and wiser, and more experienced."

"I agree."

"Hmm...so do I. Don't worry though. You'll get there one day. Maybe."

"Perhaps. I'm still not tired....are you Jeffy?"

"I don't think so."

"I didn't think so," Lily agreed.

"So what do we do until we're sleepie?" Gabby asked.

"I dunno."

"Oh. Well..did everyone have a good day today?"

"I'd say so. Jefferz? Mattie?" Lily repiled. Matt nodded. Jeff thought, then nodded.

"You had to think about that?" Lily asked.

"Well...I didn't want to give the wrong answer."

"What was so wrong?"

"I never said anything was wrong. I loved today."

"Well, I had a great day. Cept for bawling at the carnival..." Gabby said.

"And the puking....yuk," Lily agreed.

"Ewwww...I know. Poor you," Gabby repiled.

"Yeah...but I poofed myself all better. I'm glad everyone had fun."

"Yup. Me too. I can safely say today ruled."

"As can I," Matt nodded in agreement.

"Hmm..Matt, what was the bestest part of today?" Gabby asked.

"Dancing..I had fun dancing. Even though we lost." Gabby laughed

"Yeah, we lost. But it was fun." Lily got up and started singing ‘Knock Three Times.’

"She's hyper now..." Jeff said. Lily pouted.

"No...I just like the song."

"There are lots of songs I like," Gabby commented, singing 'Oceans' to Matt quietly.

"Pearl Jam can be depresing.....I'm the only energy-hyper person, eh? Jefferz, come dance with me." Matt sang 'Oceans' as well. Jeff dragged himself up to dance with her. Lily sang ‘Brown Eyed Girl’, chaning it to green eyed boy in honor of Jeff. Gabby finished singing and sighed, looking up at Jeff and Lily dancing.

"I wish we could bottle that energy." Lily smiled and poofed her and Matt full of energy. Lily danced and sang ‘Mickey.’ Gabby jumped up, full of energy. Matt did the same. "Kay..we're all hyper....now what?"

"Gabby, c'mere," Lily called over. Gabby walked over to Lily.

"Yeaaaah?"

"Sing that song from Grease....umm..that one at the end. Not ‘We Go Together.’ The one before it...with Sandy and Danny...."

"I know that one," she whispered back.

"So let's see if they know it...ready?" Lily clapped her hands and the music started to play. Gabby did the same, and the two sung the song. Matt and Jeff sang their parts and the four had a fun few minutes. Jeff pounced Lily to a pile of hay and the two laughed. Gabby looked around, then pushed Matt into one of the many piles of hay He lay there, looking at her. She grined down at him evilly. He grinned back. She dropped down beside him. Lily poofed the blanket to where she and Jeff were currently. Gabby rested her head on Matt's shoulder.

"See, I'm sleepy again."

"I'm still not...." Lily commented.

"That’s insane!" Gabby cried.

"I'm 21! I have boundless energy. You were the same at 21...and so was Jefferz and Mattie," she defended.

"I know, I know. But...Jeff is only 11 months younger than me, and he's full of boundless energy. He's on crack."

"He is not! He just feeds off of my energetic aura."

"I'm gonna hate to be in the same barn as you guys when you finally start gettin it oooon. You're never gonna stop."

"Naw...from what I hear it's kinda tiring," Lily wondered.

"So's dancing every five minutes! And you know Jeff...he's a little ball of energy."

"Yeah...true. This is true."

"Just warn us before so we can get earplugs and such?"

"How bout this, I'll poof up a silencing spell thingy....alright?" Lily suggested.

"Oohhh...that could be useful for us too...whenever."

"But you do'nt know how to do it. You see! I told you my watching all those pointless animes about the elves would be helpful."
"The spell, you mean, right?" Lily nodded. "But I'm a witchie! I can do it."

"It's a white mage spell. See? Good thing I play those Squaresoft games, eh?" Lily taunted. Gabby pouted.

"Damn mage's. I play squaresoft games toooo! Just not as much cause I don't have the patience..."

"I beat FFT.....and I mastered the priest classes...so there," Lily boasted.

"Well...I'm still....trying to beat FF7..and Chrono Trigger..and..." Gabby suddenly pouted. "I suck."

"No...Jefferz hasn't beat them yet either."

"Yeah, but I used to be so good at video games when I was little."

"But I kick his ass in Tetris...right Jeffie?"

"Yeah...kinda," he agreed.

"Kinda? What do you mean kinda?"

"I mean, yeah, a lot."

"Are you telling me you let me win?" she asked. He shook his head.

"No, you kicked my ass."

"You lie....Oscar." Lily grinned. Jeff pouted.

"Fine. Maybe tomorrow I'll dye my hair green all over."

"Oh don't pout. Besides, I like it red," she assured him. Jeff smiled.

"Can I dye my hair green all over?"

"Only if I get to do it though," Lily answered.

"Course you do. Tomorrow."

"Yay! Matt?" Matt was curled up against Gabby, fast asleep.

"Shh..he's sleeping." Lily fell silent. "Just talk quiet," Gabby whispered.
"Okay," Lily whispered back. She played with Jeff’s red hair. Gabby curled up against Matt.

"Sleepie time for me...Nite guys."

"Nite nite Gabby," both Jeff and Lily responded. Gabby smiled, and fell asleep in a few seconds.

"Jefferz...I'm still not tired"
"I know Lily."

"Are you?"

"Well....a little," he answered honestly.

"Then go nite-nite."

"But you're not tired."

"I'll take a walk or something."

"No, I'll stay up."

"But you're tired," she said, brushing a strand of red hair from his face. "Don't force yourself to stay awake on my account."

"Are you sure? I feel bad leaving you awake on your own."

"Positive sweetie....I'm gonna take a walk. I'll be back."

"I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too," she repiled, kissing his forehead. He grabbed her hand and kissed it sweetly.

"It’s cold out. Be careful."

"I will." She sliped out of his arms and poofed into very warm clothes as she walked out the barn doors, closing it softly behind her. Jeff curled up under the blanket and fell asleep, looking at the barn doors. Lily kicked up some snow, walking up towards a small wooded grove. She heared a wolf's cry to the moon. Gabby heard it, and stired, rolling over, but sleeping still. An owl hooted and Lily hopped up into the tree beside it, looking inside a small hole and producing a small bird the size of a falcon chick. She tucked the bird back into the small hole amongst the warm nest. She hopped out of the tree and walked back towards the barn, leaving no footprints. She slipped back into the barn silently, closing the door softly behind her. She poofed silently into her pajamas as she walks over to her hay pile, slipping under the blankets beside Jeff. Lily's cold hands, feet and face press against Jeff's warm body, chilling him slightly. Jeff stired, rolling over and shivering. Lily moves away, and Jeff warmed up quickly, as hay retains body heat. Lily sighed and curled into a ball, shivering to create heat. Jeff opened one eye and looked over, then pulled her closer. Lily looked up at him. "I didn't want to wake you..." she whispered.

"Shh. Its okay. You were cold."

"It's just a bit chilly out there," she informed him, tucking a small feather into the braid she made before. He smiled.

"Where's the feather from?"

"I can't tell you yet....you'll find out soon enough though." She brushed a strand of red hair from his face, staring into his eyes.

"Why's there so much stuff you can't tell me?"

"What do you want to know? Other than the feather, because it would ruin something you'll see later on."

"Don't worry. Its okay."

"Are you sure?" He nodded.

"Perfectly sure." Lily shivered.

"It's cold out dere.....did you know that?"

"Yes, because you came in freezing." Lily smiled.

"Go back to sleep Jeffie. You're tired, I can tell."

"You woke me up too much. Why don't you go wake other people up?"

"Because. When Gabs and I were roomates, I woke her up oncce cause I couldn't sleep. She beat me with a pillow unmercefilly. She gets very very grumpy when woken up.....grumpier than you. And I'm not so surea bout Matt....never woken him up yet."

"That’s impossible. No ones grumpier than me."

"She'll get mad, I'm telling you."

"But she's a lot nicer now..."

"Old habits die hard. Won't mattie get angry?"

"He might. it depends though."

"That's why I'm askin you."

"So go see."

"If I get pelted...I'm hiding behind you," she warned.

"You won't get pelted."

"But if I do, it's all your fault," she said, poking him for each word. He shrugged.

"I can live with that." Lily crawled over to Gabby.

"Gabby...Gabby wake up." Gabby groaned, rolling over and rubbing her eyes. "Gabby?"

"Hmmmm?" she repiled sleepily.

"Wake up..look....the sun is comming up." She opened her eyes slowly.

"Already?"

"Yeah...look," she said, pointing at the rising sun. Gabby looked.

"Nice." Lily sighed.

"Alright then, go back to sleep."

"No no no...just..is that all you wanted?"

"Umm...yeah...."

"Good morning then."

"Morning. Go back to sleep Gabby..." Lily commanded.
