"Hmm...Truth."
"What are you thinking at this EXACT second?"
"I'm thinking that Matt should definitely move his hands or we're not gonna finish this game any time soon." Matt blinked.
"Huh?" he asked. Gabby grinned.
"You know what I mean." Matt looked down at his hands which were around her waist and thought a moment. Gabby glared. "They weren't there a second ago."
"Uh...yeah they were."
"Then....am I hallucinating?"
"No...you just werent paying attention." Gabby shook her head.
"I coulda sworn...nevermind," she said.
"Good idea," Matt agreed. Gabby sighed.
"Alright Jeffie. Truth, or Dare?"
"Umm......dare," he said.
"I thought so. Hmm....Lets see..Get nekkid and dance around," Gabby commanded.
"I shouda gone with truth," Jeff mumbled. Gabby grinned
"Unless anyone can think of something easier..." Gabby said. Jeff mumbled something about a gutter and dragging somebody's mind out of it using a pair of tongs. "Well, Matt would do it. Wouldn't you?"
"I suppose maybe."
"Just maybe?"
"I suppose I would...." Matt said finally.
"Alright...I'm keeping mah boxers on though...otherwise I'll get sick. It's drafty in here and I'm cold as it is." Gabby pouted.
"Well, thats no fun. I've seen you in your boxers before."
"When!?" he exclaimed.
"Uuuhh...that one time...when....uuuhh. Oh just do it."
"I'll get sick though," he whined.
"I meant with your boxers on. Geez."
"Alright...they got Tigger on ‘em," he admitted.
"Awwww...that’s so cute." Jeff climbed to his feet and tossed his shirt over near the stairs. He pulled off his boots and pants and danced around in his Tigger boxers and black socks. Gabby laughed at Jeff. "I am SO glad Lily suggested this game." Jeff pulled his pants back on.
"Lovie, can I have a fleece please? I don't wanna go up to the loft," he whined. Lily poofed a blue fleece on him and he plopped back down into the hay. Gabby smiled.
"That was fun."
"Alright Matt.....truth or dare?"
"Truth." Jeff though a moment. Lily whispered something in his ear. Jeff smiled evily. "C'mon, hurry it up."
"Hey Matt....if you could be doing anyone in the world right at this very moment...who would it be?"
"That's evil..."
"Yes...yes it is. Alright. alright...I'll ask a new one...that was mean," Jeff admitted.
"And you know I don't think like that." Jeff laughed.
"Yeah sure...since when? I told you...I'll ask a new one."
"I don't! Unless I'm provoked," Matt defended.
"Yeah sure Matt. And Lily can fly..uh-huh. Alright...your new question is....what makes you the happiest? I mean it in a strictly non-nasty type way of course....honestly," Jeff asked. Matt thought.
"Seeing everyone else all happy." Jeff nodded. "Lily's turn. Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Alright then...who's your favourite person in the barn?"
"And you thought Jeffs question was evil. But I honestly do't play favorites...I love everyone equally...in different ways of course, but everyone has an equal space in my heart." Matt nodded.
"That's reasonable."
"Gabby...truth or dare."
"Daaaare," Gabby said. Jeff thought a moment.
"Jeffie...help me think of something good," Lily asked.
"Lily, it shouldn't be that hard. I'll do anything. I have no morals," Gabby said.
"Yeah I know....which is why I'm thinking of something good," Lily informed her. Gabby grinned.
"I can wait."
"I'm stuck..." Lily said. Gabby sighed.
"Truth then."
"No no..I'll think of something...eventually," Lily said thoughtfully.
"So what do we do until then?"
"I got it! Get on your knees and proclaim your love to whomever. I know, I have no inventiveness." Gabby looked around.
"Lets see...who do I love....hmm. Wait, do I have to get on my knees? I'm already laying down."
"Umm..no..but don't just say it with no umph.....it needs umph...much umph."
"Ohhhh, like I can sing it?" she asked.
"Yeah...that should be umphy enough." Gabby stood up and looked around.
"There are so many people I love here though."
"The one you love the mostest."
"I think I love Matt the most...but I don't know and I don't wanna freak him out," Gabby whisprered to Lily via psychic mind link.
"He feels de same way bout you..you won't freak him out...don't worry," Lily assured her via the link. Gabby got down on her knees in front of Matt, and spread her arms wide open.
"I LOVE YOU MATTIE!!" she yelled. Matt smiled and laughed softly.
"I love you too Gabby," he said. Gabby smiled happily, and lie down with him again.
"Ooookay, Jeffie wanna go now?" Gabby asked.
"Sure...umm...truth." Gabby grinned.
"Can I use the question you asked Matt?"
"No...that's been outlawed as evil. Besides...you already know the friggin answer."
"Yeah yeah. Okay then...Whats the one thing you love most about Lily?"
"Her eyes. Somedays they look like a portal....others they look like a cloudless sky."
"Good answer."
"It's the truth," Jeff said.
"I know. You wouldn't lie about something like that."
"Alright matt....truth or dare?"
"Truth again."
"Damn your boring. Alright...I'm using Gabby's question...name the thing you like the most about Gabby."
"Her mind," Matt replied. Jeff nodded.
"She is very inventive," Jeff agreed.
"Don't get me started."
"Matt...your turn," Lily said.
"Alright Lily...truth or dare?" Matt asked.
"Truth."
"Can I use the same question that we already used?" he asked.
"Sure thing."
"So what do you like best about Jeff?"
"His personality. And his hair...the hair is great." Matt laughed.
"It is..interesting," he agreed. Lily giggled and played with Jeff’s ponytail.
"Alright....Mattie, truth or dare." Matt grinned.
"Dare this time," he said.
"I dare you to...."
"To...." he asked.
"To...umm....dance half as good as Jeffie did wearing the same thing he did."
"See, I was gonna save that for later...but sure," he said, getting up, tossing his clothes in a pile on the floor and dancing around the barn. He returned back to Gabby shortly after. Lily snuggled in the hay with Jeff. Gabby poofed up a flannel blanket for herself and Matt."You go Mattie," Lily said.
"Gabby...truth or dare."
"Dare. And it better be good, coming from you," she said.
"Now I gotta think," he said. Gabby snuggled down with him.
"Take your time."
"Alright Gabby....act out on the first thought that pops into your mind."
"Umm...I don't know if I can do that right now...." Gabby said. Jeff and Lily flipped over face first in the hay.
"We not looking." Gabby sighed.
"Do I gotta?" she asked.
"No..not if you don't wanna...but it takes all the fun outta the game," Jeff said.
"Can I do it later?"
"Yeah sure," Jeff replied.
"Can we turn around now?" Lily whined. Gabby grinned.
"Gooood. Later will be better." Jeff and Lily turned around.
"Your turn," Matt said.
"Alright...Lily. Truth, or dare?" Gabby asked.
"Dare."
"Ooookay then. Lemme use mah brain." Lily nodded. "I'm stuck."
"So think harder. Ask around. I'm sure somebody can think of something."
"I'm thinkin some more," Gabby said. Lily nodded, snuggling with Jeff in the hay. Lily sighed and poofed a fire in the fireplace. "Hmm...tomorrow, poof yourself to Vegas and get married to Jeffie."
"Vegas? Vegas is so...unromantic though," Lily said.
"Okay, poof yourself...to where ever you want. And get married to Jeff."
"Okay....are you two going to come?"
"Of course! Wow. I get to go watch a wedding tomorrow."
"Alright....umm. Jeffiers. Truth or dare."
"Truth."
"What thought crossed your mind when Gabby dared me to do that? Wait a sec...Gabby...I don't wanna marry him."
"You don't? Why not?" Gabby asked.
"Cause you dared me too..I wanna do it cause he wants me to marry him. And only if he wants me too..."
"I do though...ALl I thought was that I hope you wouldn't make us do it in Vegas..." Jeff admitted.
"Well then, two minds think alike, eh?" Lily said. Jeff nodded.
"Tomorrow won't come fast enough."
"Yeah...I guess. I don't know...Jeffers, can I talk to you in private a minute?"
"Of course..." Lily stood up and wandered over near the slightly open barn door. Jeff followed her.
"As much as I want to get married...it feels very...rushed." Jeff shrugged.
"It’s just a dare. We don't have to."
"But now you think I don't want to. I do want to. Just not yet, that's all."
"It’s okay Lily. I know, its too soon. We can get her back somehow."
"Yeah....but how?" she asked.
"With a very mean dare that she you to do" he grinned. Lily crouched down and grabbed a handful of powdery snow and tossed it at him playfully.
"Yeah that I know...but what..."
"I'll think."
"Good," Lily answered, standing back up and brushing the snow off of his tummy. "Care to go back now?" He smiled at her.
"But of course. After you." Lily turnned and headded back over towards the hay pile and curled up in her spot, patting the warm hay next to her. Jeff lay down next to her, putting his arms around her shoulders.
"No wedding, I'm guessing?" Gabby asked. Lily looked at Jeff. Jeff shook his head.
"Not yet." Lily nodded hers in agreement. Gabby nodded.
"I really didn't expect you guys to do it anyway. Thats more of a ...me thing."
"I'm not one for jumping into things like that too," Lily responded.
"I know...it was a stupid dare anyway. I'm out of ideas, thats why."
"Us too."
"Well..it was a fun game while it lasted."
"Yes it was."
