>Five minutes later, Lily returned to the barn in a poof of baby blue smoke in the center of the floor. She looked over at Matt and Jeff who were lying in the hay. Matt bounced over to her and gave her a hug. Gabby backed away from the hay innocently. "I didn’t touch Matt," she assured her. Lily looked at Jeff with confusion.

"But I thought you loved me," she said, backing out of Matt’s arms. She ran off crying.

"He does! He...aw man." Gabby chased after her. "Heeeey, he DOES love you, which is why HE didn’t do a thing with me!" Lily ran in tearful confusion and crashed into a wall, blinded by tears. Gabby bent down to see if she was okay. Lily started to cry in pain. "Uh-oh! Want Jeffie?" Gabby yelled for Jeff, who came running over in concern.

"It hurts, it hurts," Lily said, holding her hands over her face. She rolled over, her face near the floor. Gabby snapped her fingers and made her better with witchy-magic. Lily looked down at the floor where the blood had formerly been dripping from her nose. She was shocked to find it gone. Lily smiled happily. "Thank you."

"Yer welcome." Gabby offered a tray of cookies. Lily shook her head.

"On second thought," she mumbled. Lily took two cookies and fed one to Jeff and one to Matt. "Thank you."

"Better take more than one for Matt." Lily made a face.

"Matt has me for a sweet. He doesn’t need a cookie."

"Riiiiight." Gabby ran over to Chrissy and hid behind him. Lily laughed. She looked over at Gabby.

"Now what did you do to my Jeffy when I was gone?"

"Ummmmmm....."

"Be honest Gabrielle." Gabby hid behind Christian. "Matt will tell me." Lily walked over to Matt and looked up at him, grabbing his hands in hers. "Matty, what did she do to him...and/or you?"

"I didn’t do a THING to him!"

"You did to! If you didn’t, then why are you hiding behind Chrissy?"

"Because it’s nice back here. The view’s good," Gabby replied.

"You did something and you know it. Just tell me already," Lily asserted.

"Well...I didn’t do anything to Matt."

"But what did you do to Jeff?" Lily backed into Matt’s strong arms as he wrapped them around her waist. Gabby mumbled under her breath. "A little louder please." She mumbled a little louder. "So I can hear you Gabrielle."

"Fine...I bit him. THERE. But it didn’t scar."

"You did WHAT?!?!?!?!?" Lily exclaimed, Matt’s arms getting tighter around her.

Gabby sniffled and hid behind

Christian again. "Why???"

"Cause...I was hungry..."

"But...no fair." Lily began to pout.

"Well he looked yummy! It’s his own fault!"

"It’s my job to bite him though...but Chrissy looks yummy and I don’t bite him!"

Lily whined.

"But you KNOW how good Jeff looks!!" She pushed Christian forward. "Wanna bite?"

"Yes I know he looks good. Point is? No, I would not like a bite. It wouldn’t be fair to you...or Matty, or Jeffy."

"Well excuuuuuuse me for not having morals. It’s not like I screwed him or anything," Gabby asserted.

"How do I know that?"

"ASK HIM!" Gabby said, raising her voice. Lily looked at Jeff with puppy-dog eyes, knowing that she’ll get an honest answer from him. She also knows that Matt would beat him up if he lied.

"Did you two?" After some silence, she asked again. "Well?? Did you?" Gabby waited for the answer with baited breath. "Answer me Jeffery, did you?"

"I bet he’s thinking about," Gabby said. Lily pressed back into Matt, his arms holding her tighter. Gabby sighed.

"No Lily, she didn’t screw me, nor did I screw her."

"Are you sure? You’re not just saying that to protect her?"

"NO!!! Nothing happened!" Gabby cried out.

"I believe you..." Lily turned and buried her head in Matt’s shoulder, his hair falling out of his ponytail and around her face.

"Wanna know why? Cause he said NO. That’s why."

Lily said in a muffled tone, "Don’t yell at me." Lily sniffled, hurt.

"And if I were him, I’d be insulted that you even suspected he would do that when you know he loves you."

"Considering your track record, Gabby, I have every right to suspect it. You of all people should know you have to worry when your best friend is that hot...no? The only person I don’t have to worry about around here is Matt, because nobody loves him but me and Jeff, and I don’t really have to worry about competing with Jeff. AND I know that Jeffy loves you too...so there." Gabby clenched her fists in anger.

"BUT he loved YOU more, and...I wouldn’t have been able to go through with it without asking first..."

"Now I made you mad at me," Lily said crying softly into Matt’s shoulder.

"I’m not mad. I’m...upset."

"Same thing," Lily sobbed.

"No, it’s not." Lily looked over at Jeff, who had an annoyed look on his face too. Gabby pouted and went to go sit on Chrissy’s lap.

"He’s annoyed at me too, Matt. What should I do?" Matt hugged her.

"Wanna know what I think?" Gabby asked.

"Yes...I do...and so does Matt."

"I think you should just drop it. Cause nothing happened."

"Well, I think you should stop being so grumpy," Lily remarked.

"I’m not grumpy. I’m...ummmm...tired," Gabby replied.

"Don’t even give me that line." Gabby sniffled.

"It’s true."

"I’m tired and I’m not grumpy," Gabby reiterated. "You are too." Lily stood on her tippy-toes and kissed the tip of Matt’s nose.

"I am not," Lily said in a whiny tone.

"Are too."

"Am pas. Je suis fatigué, mais non grincheux." (Am not. I am tired, not grumpy.)

"Meanie," Gabby said.

"Je ne suis pas moyen. Je suis un ange. Et une princesse. Matt et Jeff peut être d’accord sur cela," Lily said in her best French accent. (I am not mean. I am an angel. And a princess. Matt and Jeff agree on that.) Gabby clutched her head and leaned back against Christian.

"Too much French at once."

"Yeah, I know," Lily agreed. "Thank God for translators."

"No fair!" Matt sat down, pulling Lily down with him. Lily smiled. Gabby poofed up some ice cream and feed it to Chrissy. Lily laughed and snuggled with Matt.

"Why don’t you like Matt? He’s so sweet."

"I dunno...he looks...not as good as Jeff."

"I think Matt’s adorable," Lily said, defending Matt.

"He looks like a cross-eyed monkey"

"He does not!"

"Look at him!" Gabby insisted. Lily looked Matt in the eyes. "See?"

"No...all I see is a cutie pie looking at me." Lily kissed his nose again.

"Well, you’re blind then."

"Am not! I think he looks as cute as Chrissy does," Lily imput.

"NOO!!! He does NOT!" Gabby wrapped her arms around Chrissy’s neck. "See?

Chrissy equals cute."

"Matt equals adorable."

"Chrissy equals adorabler."

"Matt equals cutie pie."

"Chrissy equals hotter than humanly possible." Lily shrugged.

"I still love my Matty."

"And I love my Chrissy. Heaps."

"And my Jeffy," Lily said, holding her hands out as Jeff grabbed them.

"Yes, and I love your Jeffy too. And my Edge and my Kael." Lily climbed out of Matt’s lap and began to climb up the ladder to the loft, following Jeff and being followed by Matt.

"NOOOO!! Don’t ever climb a ladder with Jeff."

"Why not?" Lily asked.

"Don’t EVER let him or Chrissy or Edge climb ladders, okay? They scare me.

Take the stairs," Gabby said, motioning

to them.

"But he’s up there already," Lily said, pointing to a waving Jeff.

"Well...don’t let him use the ladder again." Lily climbed the last rung and snuggled down between the two of them in the hay. Gabby waved and then snuggled down with Chrissy and Edge in front of the fireplace.

"I’m not tired. Are you?" Lily asked.

"Well...no...I hadn’t really intended on sleeping."

"You know what I mean smartie." Gabby smiled evilly. Lily shook her head.

"You’re going to wear those boys out."

"Well...look at them! They’re begging for it." Lily looked at them and laughed.

"Yeah, look at them." Lily wrapped her arms around Jeff’s neck, snuggling up close to him, shivering slightly. "Is it cold in here or is it just me?"

"Nope. I’m fiiiine. By the fire, remember?"

"What fire?" Lily asked between laughs. "Edge put it out." Lily pointed to the smoldering ashes.

"Uhhh...must be the body heat from these two fine young men." Lily shook her head. "Whaaaat? They’re pretty hot."

"These two are warm too...am I the only one who is chilly?"

"Guess so. Maybe clothes would help."

"I’m wearing clothes! I’m wearing Jeff’s pants and Matt’s Hurricane jersey, and Jeff’s still in them for God’s sake. I should be warm by now..."

"That was soooooo cheap. I’m keeping my hands to myself," Gabby said. Lily giggled.

"Jeff’s not in them, don’t worry. I’ve got his extra pair. I’m not like that Gabs and you know it." Gabby pouted.

"Oh, and I am?"

"I won’t answer that," Lily said, smiling.

"Well, you should try it some time. It’s a lot better than not putting out."

Lily looked down at Gabby confused.

"I don’t get it," Lily said.

"Try being a...umm...hmm....delicate way to put this...uuuuuh...a me sometime.

Cause it’s a lot more fun screwing

like rabbits than anything else."

"Oh. But then I wouldn’t be innocent little me anymore...now would I?"

"No...but I was once innocent...and it’s not worth it," Gabby told her.

"But that’s what make everyone love me...I guess I could be more like you," Lily pondered. Gabby sniffled.

"And nobody loves me?"

"They do," Lily assured her.

"Well, you don’t have to be like me. Just a suggestion." Lily nodded. Lily began to squirm as Matt tickled her. Gabby yawned and stretched. "I’m tired."

"Help me!" Lily cried out. She laughed and squirmed as Jeff tickled her as well.

"You think you can handle both at once?" Gabby asked while giggling.

"I can try," Lily said between breaths.

"Gooooooood luck then." Lily tried to climb out of their grasp and almost made it, but Jeff grabbed her ankle and pulled her back in. The boys started to tickle her again. Gabby laughed at the three.

"Help me!" Lily cried again. Lily started to laugh harder as the boys tickled her harder. "Not fair not fair!"

"Nuh-uh. You made your bed, now lay in it," Gabby told her.

"You’re so mean," Lily told her. Lily once again tried to climb out, but this time Matt pulled her back in. Lily threw her arms around Jeff’s neck and kissed him, trying to distract him, but he kissed and tickled at the same time. "How do you put up with two at one time Gabby?"

"I’ve got them both whipped. They do whatever I say. You gotta show them who’s boss."

"But they aren’t scared of me," Lily said.

"Well, that’s because you turn around and cry every three minutes. You gotta show them who’s boss."

"Umm...they are?"

"Nooooo, someone more....feminine that’s not Jeff."

"Ummm.....Chrissy?" Lily cringed and hid between Jeff and Matt. "I’m gonna get it for that one," she mumbled to the two who were laughing.

"Noooo, no no no and NO!" Gabby screamed. Lily started to squirm and laugh again as they tickled her unrelentlessly.

"Make them stop!"

"NEVER! Not after that." Gabby called across the room.

"Please?! I was just joking." Lily looked down and saw Gabby shaking her head. Lily ducked her head and snapped her fingers, disappearing in a poof of baby blue smoke. Gabby sighed.

"BOYZ!!!! Stop it." Lily reappeared in the other side of the barn, levitating in the air. She was pouting. "Some how, I don’t think that’s gonna teach them anything." Lily zapped herself back to her original spot. They tickled her again.

"You were right Gabby."

"See? Can I yell at them?"

"Go ahead....but I don’t think it will work. Matt doesn’t like you, so he’s not going to listen."

"We’ll see." Gabby stood up and cleared her throat. "BOYZ! IF YOU DON’T STOP YOU WILL GO POOF FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER!" The two stopped. Lily got up and kneeled, looking down at her. The boys did the same.

"That’s cheating. You can’t threaten them like that!" Lily informed them.

"I can too!" Gabby protested.

"You can not!" Lily reiterated.

"Who said?" Gabby asked.

"I did."

"If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t be here," Gabby said.

"Yes I would. I made the barn after all," Lily told her.

"But I made the list that the barn was made on," Gabby bragged.

"But the barn was my idea!’ Lily defended. The boys tickled her, noticing that Lily was preoccupied.

"Now make us stop without threatening," Jeff called down. Gabby snuggled down with Christian so she couldn’t hear them. Lily started to tickle the boys back, making a racket in the loft. Gabby turned and yelled up to them.

"BE QUIET! I’m trying to sleep!"

"You are not, you liar," Lily called back.

"I am too!’

"Are not."

"I am so. I worked Edge an Chrissy to the bone earlier. I need a rest."

"I don’t do anything to my boys...they’re still ready to go," Lily gloated.

"Yeah, but are you gonna let them go?" Gabby questioned, knowing the answer already.

"I might...I might. But what do I do with both of them? I can’t just leave one out," Lily asked, clearly confused. Gabby rolled her eyes.

"Ah, the innocents."

"What?" Lily asked with sheer innocence.

"Weeeelllll...here’s the plan...you can take on Matt.....aaaaaaand Jeff can have a warm place here.

"I don’t think so Gabby. Jeff’s staying with me."

"Oh well...I tried."

"Even though I trust him...I don’t trust Christian around him," Lily said.

"Hmm...Umm...can you PLEASE send Jeff down here? That wouldn’t be a bad thing."

"He doesn’t want to go down there. Besides, he’s keeping me warm."

"Aww....well, I tried again. Guess Chrissy’s gonna have to go to sleep disappointed."

"Yeah, I guess so. But what about Edge? You’re leaving him out of this."

"Hmm...well...that’s a good question." Lily threw a rock at X-Pac in the cage. Lily kissed Jeff and the Matt as they stopped torturing her and the three of them began to fall asleep. "OH! So help me God, if you are insinuating that I let my dear Edge play with X-Pac you are SOO mistaken."

"No, actually. I was throwing it at him because he beat up Kane and Y2J. That’s who we forgot!" Lily made Kane appear in the adjacent room where all the other guys were being held captive.

"And we both know that Edge wants

X-Pac.

"Naw, he doesn’t."

"Yeah he does. Just look at him eyeing X-Pac like that."

"If he’s eyeing anyone, it’s me, or possibly Jeff, cause we ALL know Jeff’s been giving him looks."

"He has not!" Lily defended. "Jeff’s been too busy looking at me to look at Edge. Chrissy might be checking out Edge though."

"He has too. I’ve seen. And ya know...those teeth marks in Jeff are a little too big to be mine..." Gabby trailed off. Lily examined Jeff’s neck, and saw no marks. Jeff flipped her under him, and pinned Lily to the floor of the loft. "LIAR!"

Gabby said, not believing Lily.

"Gabby, why are they so immature?"

"Why, whatever do you mean?"

"Ewww!! He licked my cheek! Grossness!"

"Hay, if you don’t like that tongue, send him down here and it’ll be put to good use."

"I never said that...I just don’t like getting my face licked. Have Chrissy amuse you." Lily looked up at Jeff who had her pinned. "Mind letting me out so I can sleep?" Jeff rolled off of her. "Thank you love."

"He let you GO??? Whoa," Gabby said, shocked. Lily snuggled between the two boys once again.

"Of course he did. He loves me."

"See, if I were you, I wouldn’t have even asked him to move."

"He was squishing me. Besides, I know he’ll be there again eventually before the night is over."

"Ohhh, so miss innocent isn’t gonna be so innocent?"

"I never said we were going to do anything. I’m still miss innocent...for now at least." Lily crawled up to Jeff and rest her head on his chest. He placed his arms around her waist and held her tight, Matt doing the same. "Good night Gabby, Chrissy, Edge, Matty, Jeffy." Jeff and Matt pulled up the blanket around their necks. Lily cleared her throat.

"Good night boys in the other room!" Lily closed her eyes and fell asleep to the breathing of Jeff in her ear.
