Hi. Welcome to my website. My name online is Silenced Child, I hope you enjoy your stay. This is my second web site. I started my first one last year as a way of letting my silent cries start to be heard. My first site was very dark, and very sad. I wasn’t in a safe place at the time I began coming online, and my site reflected that. Over time it began to change, and eventually I decided it was time to open a new one. After all, it is a time for new beginnings…
I am now in a safe environment and have begun my journey of healing. I took on a totally different look for my new site, along with a totally different name. Chrysalis is when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly, and like a caterpillar, I am a waiting chrysalis. I am ever so slowly changing, growing, and becoming more colorful and graceful inside. I still have many days when I am angry, sad, or unsure about things, but it’s my time to begin healing. It might take months, it will probably take years, but one day I will come out, let my wings dry off, and I will finally fly on my own…
