The band's first re-union gig. This was also during the Scandinavian holiday Mid-Summer, which dates way back before christianity and is a couple of notorious drinking days here. People spat at the band and some bottles were thrown. After Holidays In The Sun they left the stage with John saying ''Fuck You! Fuck Off!''. Finnish TV star Billy Carson was sent out to calm the audience down a bit. 5 minutes later the band returned. Halfway through the next song, EMI, a bottle almost hit Paul, but the Sex Pistols played on, even returning for an encore of Anarchy In The UK and No Fun.

The Roskilde festival audience was far more hostile towards the band. The Sex Pistols were immediately hailed with broken bottles and stones. In the break in Bodies they stopped playing not for seconds but minutes asking if the audience wanted them to ''play or go away?''. The answer was ''Go away!''. The band continued playing and the anger seems to have added a bit of bollocks to the performance 'cause the tape of this show is really good with really agressive versions of the songs. Despite John's warnings about leaving the stage if any more bottles were thrown at the band some people kept 'em flying. After 5 songs the band left the stage with Paul saying ''You fuckin' stupid arseholes, see ya later'' and John adding a few more of those everpresent Fuck-Offs.
The gig was taped and video filmed by several members of the audience as well as at least one TV News crew.
