
A smoothie is a frozen fruit drink. It's great for replenishing carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals after exercising.

Ingredients:
•1 frozen banana
•1 cup frozen pineapple
•1 cup orange juice
•1 cup frozen blueberries
•1 cup pineapple juice
•1 cup frozen strawberries
•1 cup apple juice
Instructions:
Put the ingredients in a blender and mix.

(Makes 2 or 3 servings)
Ingredients:
•1/2 cup orange juice
•1 banana
•6-7 frozen strawberries
•4-5 slices frozen peaches
•5-6 frozen blueberries
•6-7 ice cubes
•1 tsp. honey (optional)
Instructions:
Place all ingredients except ice cubes in blender.
Puree until smooth.
Add ice, and puree again.
Pour into a glass and sprinkle nutmeg on top and garnish with some fresh mint.

•2 slices pineapples in their own juice
•1 c finely sliced strawberries
•1 ea crushed ice as you wish (I Like 3 or 4 cups)
•1 orange sliced
•1 banana
Instructions:
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend on high for 3 to 4 minutes or until smooth. You can substitute all different types of fruit. Try it first thing in the morning, it is a great pick - me - up!!

Place all the ingredients except the garnish in a blender and puree until smothe. Pour into 4 tall glasses and garnish with a strawberry cut 3/4 the way thru and perched on the lip of the glass.
