The Muse Factory currently is featuring a modest selection of stories and poetry submitted to me by seveal other writers. All of the submissions donated to the website are showcased in our Prose, Poetry and Drama pages, which are available through the links off the main page. I would like to extend my appreciation to those persons for their continual support for this website. I would also like to extend and invitation for new submissions. Though The Muse Factory is still in it's infancy, room is presently being reserved for external contributions from it's visiting public. |

The Muse Factory shall remain entirely non-profit, and in no way does it intend to serve a commercial purpose. This means that all material posted on The Muse Factory is not subject to payment nor is any of it subject to commercial solicitation. Likewise, the site administrators consider all of the material posted in it's archives the personal property of the authors, and we DO NOT reserve the right to claim royalty or copyright of anything published therein. However, this certainly does not defeat the purpose of The Muse Factory, which is eventually hoped to become a thriving online charitable resource for anyone who would like to take advantage of it's efforts. |

| CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS: | ||
|
Our Prose and Poetry sections are now fully operational. Clicking on the button links from the home page will take readers to either of these respective pages. Both the poetry and prose sections are layed out in what we consider a user friendly manner; all of the currently available contributions are listed on their respective pages as easily navigated lists with clearly defined links. The prose section includes an excerpt from each contribution so that readers may preview a portion of the story before reading the full work. Visitors to our site will also notice that each author that has contributed to the Muse Factory now has their name listed on the homepage under "Current Contributors". Each name is linked to a special page listing all of the work found on the site exclusively by that writer. Again, each listing features excerpts and links to the full work. Loyal readers will find this especially useful for finding submissions from a preferred author once the Muse Factory grows larger. Feedback to Authors On every page featuring a full work there is a feedback form at the bottom. Some pages also include an option to submit feedback directly to the author via email, but this is at the author's discretion and not always available. Normally all feedback is recieved through the forms and forwarded to the author by the site to create as little inconvenience for the author as possible. Feedback does not require telling us your name. Our site is more concerned with the content of these forms than who actually sent them. Including your name and any other personal information is entirely at the discretion of the person using the form. However, your name is more than likely appreciated by the author along with any feedback. |

| WHAT IS THE MUSE FACTORY? | ||
|
The Muse Factory is an online writer's workshop. The site invites aspiring writers of all walks of life to submit their work, finished or not, for the purpose of posting it online so that others may read and feedback their work. The primary objective of The Muse Factory is to provide confidence to writers where it might be lacking, or simply to provide a way of sharing projects with other enthusiastic peers (both writers and peers) by posting the bearth of their talents in an unthreatening and supportive environment. In a nutshell, The Muse Factory is an internet based writer's workshop geared toward amatuer talent and even part time hobbiest writers. What this site would like to stress most, is that writing should be supported rather than scrutinized, and that writers themselves should be a communtity rather than competitors. This means YOU, if you enjoy writing but you don't have the confidence to consider what you produce proffessional. This means you, if you someday would like to take your writing more seriously but still need a little more motivation. This also means you, if you simply wonder if what you've been writing lately is working for an audience. Remember, the Muse Factory accepts only non-professional submissions. The administrators of this website have high hopes for the Factory. We believe that some of the world's best literature is hidden in the imaginations of people who might otherwise never share it with the rest of the world. Hence, the Muse Factory has found it's way to the internet |
