Internet Law

I'm very interested in Internet Law, especially in how invisible areas of cyberspace can affect our privacy and legal rights. Thus, my focus is on "interconectivity". I'm involved in many projects through the Harvard Law School Berkman Center for Internet Law Research, including ILaw, an online Internet Law course. Through ILaw and my research on Interconnectivity with Professor William W. Fisher, III, Ph.D., I attended an Internet law symposium in Singapore on January 2-5, 2002. I'm also drafting an Internet law coursebook with Professor Fisher, Charles Nesson, and Jonathan Zittrain at Harvard, as well as Larry Lesig (at Stanford) and Yohai Benkler (at NYU and currently a visiting professor at Yale).

I also am a hardcore supporter of greplaw, formally SharkWire, and Slashlaw before that, which is a new website and a great resource for recent Internet Law news & discussions. It's created and run entirely by students and is the number one source for current Internet law news. But, it needs support. You can help greplaw by visiting the site and posting current Internet law news or comments in response to the other postings. Another high-tech law news resource is Ladas & Parry, a 100% IP firm that offers an IP newsletter. But, they don't offer discussion. So, maybe you can get some news there and post it to greplaw for great discussion.
