Only in Tunkhannock...
Death
Death is a fact of life. It's everywhere, even in Tunkhannock. This sad truth was revealed to our robotics team some few hours into competition when a poor dead bird was discovered outside a window. After the event, our reporter questioned several witnesses and other random people as to their thoughts concerning this poor creature.
The first witness was a member of team 433, and all-girls team from Flourtown. Describing the scene, she said, "It's ugly and its head was kinda twisted back and its wings were *eew*!" She indicated a willingness to draw a picture of it, but thankfully, this reporter was able to prevent her from doing so.
Next, we spoke with a few people who weren't there, asking their unbiased opinion on the subject. One person could feel the poor bird's pain and thoughts, which were, "Ow!"
A Philadelphia family also spoke on the subject. The oldest daughter said cryptically "that he is dead and being sold bread." Research is being done to decide whether she is just on drugs or her hair is controlling her thoughts. The younger daughter had some more coherent thoughts. She wonders, "Who is there to notice and/or care?" This reporter wonders the same thing.
Finally, we spoke with a resident of Tunkhannock, who refused to comment.
