About Eileen



   

    Eileen lives in Ma., is a wife, mother of six children, grandmother of four babies and lover of many. Eileen has always thrived on the creative process to lift her spirit. In the last three years her creativity has led her to new areas of interest. She combines colors, and textures of material in the making of quilts as she also combines images, and textures of words, in her poetry and short story writing.

     Eileen has been published in Ink Literary Review, Summer Edition July 1997. She was a finalist in the 1999 Fusion Poetry Contest, her poetry was selected for Heels and Souls, and Southern Breezes published by Poet Works Press. At the Austin International Poetry Festival, Eileen read her poetry live for the first time. She is a member of the Massachusetts State Poetry Society, and compiles the anthology for the Student's Poetry Contest.

     Eileen is a 1999 graduate of Emmanuel College and works as an Accounting Supervisor.
