PAGAN SPIRITUALITY

In today's changing world there are many spiritual paths to choose from.
Before Christianity took over the spiritual market so to speak, there
were many god and goddess paths. These paths did not completely
disappear but as Christianity rose to the top it became wise not to
publicly admit the practice of an earth religion or other alternate path.
The neccesity to hide the knowledge and practice of the earth religions
lead to some of the knowledge being lost. Still, some found ways to
preserve the information and those bits of knowledge manifest in today's
modern rebirth of the old ways. Paths such as Wicca are not complete
duplicates of the old ways because there is no way of knowing exactly
what was practiced spiritually as records were not kept. Few records Freedom of Religion Acts in different countries have helped those who do not choose to follow a prescribed Christian path but there is still much work to be done. Although public awareness and the increasing popularity of non-Christian faiths have helped as well, there are still people who must keep their religion secret in order to keep their jobs or maintain relationships. Besides all of that, there are still some false preconceptions about these non-Christian paths. So in essence the goal is to provide correct and accurate information to the public and to those interested in an alternate path. The goal is not to"convert" anyone or to insult the Christian path. The point is that everyone should have the right to choose their own spiritual path. Christianity is very rewarding for some people, and an earth religion is equally rewarding for others.
