In the beginning, someone said, "let there be light" and of course, there was light. No one said, "let there be darkness". The light came from the dark, and both live in us all. We are like the moon, we have a dark side and a light side. Sometimes we fight to maintain the balance, other times we live in the darkness. Whatever the case, the dark should not be ignored in favour of the light. The dark is not necessarily evil, it is merely a part of nature. To deny your dark side is to deny a part of yourself.
