The Nightmare

The Day I Showered

I skipped rope in grade school and once adjusted, I skipped school in high school. I got high in high school. I wasn't the Class Rebel or some romantic notion such, I was just a regular kid getting through the daily banalities of adolescence and the highs so high and the lows so incredibly low. I loved my parents much more than I ever told them, despised my friends at times more than I actually let on. I thought I lived day-to-day but when the days all reach the same shade of blurred grey, there is no unplanned thought or unthought plan.
