I DID IT!!!! I finally went into an RP (Role Playing) room alone, under a different handle
and I loved it!!! I visited The Castle and I absolutely loved every second of it!!! It's not that difficult once you understand what
the room is about and how different types of people fit in. Most of the RP rooms on the East Wing have homepages
or FAQ (freaquently asked questions) Pages linked from their sign in page, follow these links and read about the room
for a few minutes before you enter, it helps tremendously!!! Then if you're still not sure, as I wasn't *L*, you
enter with at least a tiny idea and then let the room know that you are OOC (out of character) and ask a few questions. Perhaps I got lucky, but
the room I went into had many chatters ready and willing to assist. Be sure you let them know if you are OOC each post that you are not RPing
in. If a post is half IC (in Character) and half OOC then simply put the IC or OOC in their appropriate places. Now that I've tried one room, which I
just adored, I might try even more!!! Now, mind you NOT all the rooms are as easy to understand as
the one I tried, but I'm sure there are patient RPers around who would lend a hand?? I know I could use some more
advice and aid if I'm going to continue to visit these rooms. Next week as well there SHOULD be an
article all on RP by someone who takes it very seriously *if I can suck up to him enough to get him to write it*. |

KoRn Queen
Handles that you chat under: Oh boy, I've had many handles through out my chathouse days. The handle I am most known for and one I use the most is KoRn Queen. Or any combination you can think of with the letters KQ. Kiggity KQ, Y2KQ, ICQ KQ, Caffeine KQ, you get the point. Then there are my Manson handles. Miss Manson is my favorite. Madame Manson, Mansonite|KQ, MANSON ROCKZ, and I think you get the point again. Another favorite handle is Screamin' Demon. And those are the most mentionable ones. But I do have a new one, which is Vixen Venom.. haven't chatted with that one yet!
How did you decide on the handle (s)? Good question. If you ask my sister, she'll say shecame up with it. But I think I did. Who knows the question is still under debate with us! *L* But I
think the rest is pretty simple, I like the band KoRn, so there you go! I don't know, I was listening to KoRn
alot, before I got on the net. Follow the leader had just came out, and so I was big on them again. So of
course when I chatted all I wanted to do was express my love for KoRn. What better way then self
proclaiming yourself the Queen? *L* I also think the ring of KoRn & Queen sounds cool together. But a word of advice for people picking handles, don't base your handle around a band. It's more trouble than it's
worth! For one, I'm sure my handle will look very dated in 10 years. (of course I'll still be chatting, and hey I think ahead!) And second, people come in the room all the time quizing you about the band, I HATE
that. Then we have our "Kings of KoRn". I mean I will not talk to you if you come in acting like you're the
so called King to my Queen! Then of course you get those genius types "DO YOU LIKE KORN, KORN QUEEN?" "No, I hate KoRn! The hell do you think?"
Location: Online my locations are usually the chathouse, or building some sort of website no one will care about! Offline I live in the U.S. and that's as much as I'll say *L*
Information on chatting.. *L* How long have you been chatting and which rooms do you normally chat in,etc.… Info on chatting? You want a book? *L* I think when you first discover chatting online, everything is exciting and new. (much like sex, i hear *L*) Then after awhile, it's "been there, done that". People begin to annoy you, and everything gets old. As for chatting, I've been doing it for little over a year
and started in the flipside, ANT FARM baby. My roots are in the ant farm. *trying to sound like a black
activist* And I have a strong sense of culture, and where I come from. ANT FARM POWER!!! *L*
Age and Zodiac Sign… I am young, but legal *grins* And my sign is virgo. I'm not big on zodiac signs and stuff, but I do have one *L*
Marital Status…. SINGLE as they come! By choice, I should add. I'm not fat or anything. *L* That's kinda mean.. but all I'm saying is right now I'm young, and enjoy my freedom. Besides I can't tear myself away from the net long enough to find anyone. *L*
Kids… NONE. I also plan to never have them either. People always tell me that I'll change my mind, and all that crap. But I honestly do not want any children.. at least until I am satisfied with myself and my life. I'm not bringing anything into this world if I can't provide for it properly. Whether that be emotionally or financially. But I still don't want them!

Profession.. Law Enforcement Officer, I'm planning to go into criminal law next year.
Hobbies and Interests…The internet is up there! Ummmmm as for anything else, I just like doing funny things. I love comedy and making others laugh. Music is big, especially heavy metal/rock. Head banging should be a sport! I really don't have much to tell you, I always get into something, then become bored with it real easy.
Music Preferences…As I stated above, HEAVY METAL/ROCK. I love it, can't live without it. Oh do I ever love it. Although I can tolerate anything, and sometimes sneak and watch the crap on mtv. Oh and at work I'm forced to listen to country, which I have started to like. BUT only while at work! *L*
Pet Peeves….Is life and people a pet peeve? *L* I find just about everything to get on my nerves at one point or another. Here's a few I can think of real fast *G*
I'm sick of people like Eminem saying "I'll say what I feel, and wont hold back". The getting mad at
someone like Christina Aguleria for something she says. I mean I hate people who preach things and think
it should only apply to them. I hate people who contradict themselves left and right. Or people who
sit there and say something because they think is the thing to say. Like, someone claiming they are poor,
cuz I tell them me and my family are. Or someone saying there life is so terrible, when they probably
don't know what rough is a day in there life! Everyone has it hard, quit bitching and move on. (I'm gonna
quit bitching now too *L*)

Anything else that you'd like people to know about you? *S* …I'd like them to know that I am pretty out there, just plain weird, funny, whatever. Don't take me so seriously, I joke about 99% of the time. Besides, this is the internet, I think people need to lighten up, ALOT! I get into many useless fights because people have no sense of humor. Or maybe they don't get mine! Who the hell knows... Who cares! Just laugh, be stupid, have fun. (Gosh that sounded geeky) But hey I can put myself on the line, aint afraid of sounding like a dork! (Gotta credit the fearless rebel in me) *L*
Changes or improvements that you'd like to see at the Chathouse™ No improvements really. I'd just like people to back off of the ant farm, and the forum. I get sick of it. And feel I've defended things enough as it is. But a change I would love to see is Chathouse renaming the ant farm forum to KoRn Queen's attic. Doubt it'll happen though..... *pretends to pout* *L*

How did you decide on the handle (s)?: I chose summer breeze in the dead of winter. Thinking of a warm place and summer breeze just came to me I liked it and have used it for that past two yrs, Bree is short for Breeze. Got lazy one day and didn't feel like typing full handle name *L*
NHbreeze is from my homepage. Since I Live in NH that's where that idea for the handle came from .. Handle I use most often though is summer Breeze or just Bree.
Location: I'm from the good old state of new Hampshire .. home of the beautiful White mountains.
Information on chatting: I've been chatting for two yrs now, started on the second floor twister and the loft met a lot of nice people there (my son got me hooked on chatting *L*) but for the last 18 to 20 months I been a regular visitor to Joe's Diner. Cyber Marriage in Route 66 A First
Dearly beloved, we are gathered together, rang out throughout Route 66 on Sunday, July 2, 2000 as King of Darkness and aphrodite exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony. Kato was best man, Lady Majik was maid-of-honor, Lynx was flower girl , Tom Terrific was ring bearer. White Rose performed the wedding ceremony.
Many quests throughout Chathouse were witness to the happy occasion and attended a reception held by King of Darkness to a night of dancing and lots of champagne. On be half of Route 66 we wish the couple many years of happiness together as it is their intent to marry in real life, this was a jester on behalf of King of Darkness professing his true love to aphrodite.
May you two never lose sight of each other in building on your dreams but most of all your love.

the anonymity of chat give you free reign to speak your mind without risk?
Everyone knows that if they said what they really felt or meant in some RL
situations it would, sometimes lead to very bad results. Is chat any different?
Do you risk anything speaking your mind in chat? If so, what are those risks?

*My chat
persona is the same as my RL persona. I know when I can and cannot get away with
saying or doing certain things, and I will freely admit, sometimes I go too far,
in both places. I take full responsibility for my behavior. Speaking my mind,
whether tactfully or not, has earned me a lot of friends who respect my candor,
but it's made a few enemies for me, too. It's a risk I take

internet is the only place in the world where FREE SPEECH truly exists! A person
can do or say anything they please on the net. You ask the question of what
price a person pays for "speaking freely" in chat. Well the free
speaking is just that freedom of speech.
*I feel that
chat is "real life" and there are no differences.. There are
"real people" sitting behind each monitor and those "real
people" with "real feelings" are communicating with other
"real people" just in a different type of way.
Questions asked: Is
"cybersex" harmless fun? Is expressing yourself freely sexually online
"safe sex"? Is it even sex at all?
*Well,
when you consider that the largest sexual organ anyone has is their brain and
you have to use your brain to think about what you're saying online, that would
make it a form of sex, wouldn't it? Not physical, but yes, still sex,or at least
a form of it.
*Just
last night, I was in a chat room and again observed a person who acts like a
"slut" on line, get very upset yet again because others commented on
her behavior, which happened to be occurring in public. Time to face the facts.
your behavior on-line is judged just the same as your behavior off-line is
judged. opinions formed are just as hard to overcome in either situation.
* And
just so you don't think that the perverts coming in wanting to cyber, etc. are
there just to annoy you, if they stay in the room it's because someone else in
the room is "chatting" with them the way they want to be chatted with.
Oh, and for every HotHorney(F) or 9inchesHARD that walks in the room, there is
another that is just waiting to play with them. Their handles may not always be
that obvious either, little miss AngelKiss or PerfectGentleman, may be as
goodie-two-shoes as they come in public, but may also have HotHorney(F) or
9inches clicked on PM. That's why they have the Ignore Buttons. You can't stop
freedom of speech or freedom of expression, but if you don't like it, IGNORE IT!

Chathouse news: I
must apologize to all for the recent down time of the chathouse, seems while I
was ~busy~ with the daemons, I misplaced the handcuff keys, and well, well the
chathouse is back up and running, as are the daemons ~EG~ Running to fix the few
kinks that are hiding in the new forums that is. So if your having problems,
when you email about it, stating what the problem is, is alot more helpful that
simply stating the problem sucks.
Chathouse Gossip: I
have been floating around the east wing alot lately, and have come across three
common complaints which are, The regulars of the role playing rooms seem to have
trouble with the newer role players coming in and not following the guidelines
and or not asking what they are, which leads to no fun real fast for all
involved.
2nd complaint was from some chatters trying to get their foot in the door to the
role playing rooms but claim they are shunned and not given chance, and no one
will help them. Again no fun, real fast
Suggestion for this are? Maybe If your a Role playing reg and would want
your handle or email addy posted where new comers can come to you for some
assistance you could email me that info? Any and all thoughts on this are
welcome!
3rd, what is up with the Masquerade players? Seems to be alot of anger floating
around in there, troublemakers? Reaches for whip, just point them out to me

But is it with our eyes that we see, or is it the heart and soul that touches us with the visual accuracy our pupils tend to miss because they're so fixated upon the outer core and what everyone else sees? This site is not only well organized and easy to navigate, but it tugs at something inside...the things many people think and feel, but are afraid to vocalize for whatever their reasons. The poetry of each chapter poignantly shows the duality of life as both light and dark and Eyes of the Soul does exactly what his handle suggests: bares his soul by verbalizing what he sees inside. There's much to read here, and it's worth every minute spent doing it.
