Conference News
Do you have any views on the future of science fiction that you would like to share with writers from all over the world ? (Click here to read the guidelines.)

Awards
The Nebula Award, presented by the Science Fiction Writer's Association (SFWA) is the highest honor a science fiction writer can receive. The SFWA was founded in 1967 by Damon Knight and has 1200 writers, editors and allied professionals as members. You must have at least three short stories or a full-length novel or a drama script published in a professional journal before you can join SFWA.

If you are an aspiring science fiction writer who has earned only a pile of rejection slips so far, the New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA) has a contest especially for you. The NESFA short story contest takes submissions ( of about 7500 words) from amateurs who have not sold a story in three months before the start of Boskone, their convention held in Boston in February every year.
