A native of Southwest Virginia, Jason Hibbitts served an enlistment in the United States Air Force before enrolling in Emory & Henry College’s Creative Writing program where he also studies photography. He has also published poems in Bluestone Review and Blue Collar Review. The photographs reproduced here were taken on the Appalachian Trail.
